I am a WashU undergraduate student majoring in microbiology. I will work in particular on pages on beetles on Wikipedia. I would love to contribute on biology related topics on Wikipedia.

Erroneous edits to Dynastes tityus article

edit

Hi. The information you have been adding to the article for Dynastes tityus is all for an entirely different species of beetle, Dynastes hercules. Please stop. It helps no one if you place information about one species into an article about a different species. Dyanega (talk) 20:09, 4 April 2024 (UTC)Reply

Hi, thanks for letting me know. I am editing this Wiki page for a homework for my ecology class. If the information is wrong, I am not intentionally spreading it. I just finished editing it and the assignment is due tomorrow. Could you please stop deleting my edit until we talk and figure out what was wrong?
Here are the references that I have mainly used for my information. For all these references, they explicitly say the articles are about the Eastern Hercules Beetle. Please let me know what you think. Thanks.
