Milhist newsletter

Could you please send out the Military history newsletter (Wikipedia:WikiProject Military history/News/Newsletter March 2009) to the different lists at Wikipedia:WikiProject Military history/News/Options and the Active members list? Many thanks in advance,  Roger Davies talk 18:02, 2 April 2009 (UTC)

Birds!

Hi C: Not sure if you're still around. If so, can you please drop me a quick note if you'll be able to send the WP:BIRDS newsletter this month? Same as last time, with the exception that we've now broken out active participants, on the participants page; don't worry about the inactives! If I don't hear from you in a couple of days, no worries—I'll check with somebody else's bot! Enjoy your spring break... Thanks, MeegsC | Talk 18:00, 3 April 2009 (UTC)

Never mind, I sent 'em out today. Hope you're having fun somewhere! MeegsC | Talk 15:43, 8 April 2009 (UTC)
Sorry about that Meegs. I had lots of fun, but pretty much no time! I hope you are enjoying Easter if you celebrate it! Cbrown1023 talk 19:11, 12 April 2009 (UTC)

If I may trouble you in regard to This Matter.....

I don't know how to operate a bot; could I trouble you to send out announcements to the below persons? --NBahn (talk) 05:01, 14 April 2009 (UTC)

What do you want me to send them? What's the text I should give them? Cbrown1023 talk

Darrin McGillis Page

Can you explain what I did wrong in making the page? Thanks--66.229.250.178 (talk) 08:01, 18 April 2009 (UTC)

I don't see anything wrong, why do you think you did something wrong? Cbrown1023 talk 23:02, 19 April 2009 (UTC)

Vandalism or rare fact?

Resolved
Semi-protection requested on the RFPP page.User F203 (talk) 20:21, 20 April 2009 (UTC) but denied. User F203 (talk) 21:58, 20 April 2009 (UTC)

I was looking for an administrator and I found your name by looking at others' talk page and kept clicking names of people who wrote until I found your name.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Patrick_Macnee

Under "personal life" near the end, it says:

He was married to third wife Baba Majos de Nagyzsenye from 1988 to her death in 2008

I googled the name and can find no mention of her death. If it said she repaired transmissions in Renault cars but I couldn't find a reference, then I might think it's a rare fact. However, saying someone is dead if she is not dead is no laughing matter. On the other hand, maybe she did die.

http://www.patrickmacnee.com/work.html mentions his wife but not her death. So does http://www.patrickmacnee.com/news.html

Maybe add a [citation needed] ? User F203 (talk) 19:59, 20 April 2009 (UTC)

Look at the article's talk page. Someone put a fake film credit.

That does it. I will remove the death information and ask people in the talk page to look for references. I will watch over the page and may come to you if I need help. Right now, I don't think I need your help. User F203 (talk) 20:03, 20 April 2009 (UTC)

Someone else deleted a fact that couldn't be proven, that the actor was related to a magician. Yeah, magic "facts". User F203 (talk) 20:07, 20 April 2009 (UTC)

IP 90.198.239.219 said she was dead. Can't confirm death. IP 67.161.126.182 said she died in 2007. Other one says 2008. There may be a fixation about saying someone is dead. Very sick.

Would you put a lock on it for IP and newbies (semi-protection)? Is that the best way to address the problem.? There still is a chance that she did die but I'm beginning to think it is mental illness or sick humour. User F203 (talk) 20:12, 20 April 2009 (UTC)

Naughty bot blanking a talk page

Hi, I've just noticed your bot blanked a user talk page [1] two days ago instead of posting a meetup notification, you may want to look into it ... Equendil Talk 11:56, 23 April 2009 (UTC)

Er, no idea how that happened... it's just AWB. :-/ Cbrown1023 talk 21:13, 24 April 2009 (UTC)
