Hello, I'm Geraldo Perez. I noticed that you made an edit concerning content related to a living (or recently deceased) person on Carlson Young, but you didn't support your changes with a citation to a reliable source, so I removed it. Wikipedia has a very strict policy concerning how we write about living people, so please help us keep such articles accurate and clear. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. IMDb is not a reliable source for anything so don't use it. You must have a source for birth info that meets WP:BLPPRIVACY requirements, existing info is age stated in a dated publication, best we have so far. I restored some of the edits you made that were rejected by a reviewer. The TV Guide reference was a good one. Famousbirthdays can't be used as they are basically a web scraper who are repeating stuff they found on the net and don't do any sort of verification. Still need something that meets WP:BLPPRIVACY for her full birth date, until then the approximation we have now is adequate. Occupation as writer and director are based on, what looks like non-notable vanity projects, so that is more of a hobby than an occupation. We list notable occupations in bio articles, not every job a person has ever done. Anyway appreciate the work you are making in trying to improve the article. Try not to let the wiki process discourage you. It is just that we are real careful about what we put in articles that talk about real people so are a bit touchy on sourcing and not adding incorrect info. Source for birthdate is marginal but OK for now. Don't put in writer and director until you have reliable secondary sources that talk about her career as a writer and director. A passing mention that she wrote and directed a non-notable film, not picked up for general distribution, is not sufficient to establish those as notable occupations. If you still think it important and disagree with my judgment here, it needs to be discussed on the talk page. Geraldo Perez (talk) 19:53, 13 December 2017 (UTC)Reply
