Talk That Talk.
Hi, are you just revising the section I added? I spent alot of time writing that and I don't want it to be removed. Nicholas (talk) 22:07, 12 November 2011 (UTC)
- I don't believe I removed it? Calvin • TalkThatTalk 22:09, 12 November 2011 (UTC)
- You said you moved it and you were revising it. Nicholas (talk) 22:23, 12 November 2011 (UTC)
- Yes, exactly. Moved, not removed like you first implied. The section was far too big, and you adding the Musical structure to the Background section didn't make sense at all. It should have it's own section, and it now does. You obviously haven't looked at the article to see what I've done? All I did was moved it to it's own section... Calvin • TalkThatTalk 22:27, 12 November 2011 (UTC)
- OH I see. Sorry I didn't see, I just noticed it gone and thought you removed it to edit it. I was just making sure you werent removing it completely because I spent time typing that. Nicholas (talk) 22:58, 12 November 2011 (UTC)
- No i wouldn't remove it, it's good. Calvin • TalkThatTalk 17:03, 13 November 2011 (UTC)

Rap music existence
I see you have warned Ian Streeter several times about changing genres without sources and I was wondering if I could get your opinion about something he has posted on my talk page, section 12. He repeatedly claims that rap is not a genre and I will get warned and then blocked if I continue to revert his edits. Is he right about rap not being a genre and that I should stop reverting? Should I refuse to believe him until he has a source? Or is it just intentional vandalism? MuSiClOvEr (talk) 20:05, 13 November 2011 (UTC)
- Rap is a style of singing (rapping), it's not a genre of musical composition. Hip hop is the genre. He adds genres without sources all the time, he is in the wrong. And he isn't really in the position to say about getting you blocked, he hasn't even made 1,000 edits. Calvin • TalkThatTalk 20:09, 13 November 2011 (UTC)
- So i should leave his edits instead of continuing to revert them, because rap isn't a genre? MuSiClOvEr (talk) 20:14, 13 November 2011 (UTC)
- Rapping is not a genre. A genre is a type of musical composition, like R&B, Electro, Classical etc. So is he saying that Rap is or is not a genre? Calvin • TalkThatTalk 20:33, 13 November 2011 (UTC)
- He says rap isn't, it should be changed to hip hop, which by your definition is correct. So I should leave it right? MuSiClOvEr (talk) 20:38, 13 November 2011 (UTC)
- Yes it should be left alone. Rap is not a genre, it's a style of "singing", basically talking, no talent involved what-so-ever. Calvin • TalkThatTalk 20:44, 13 November 2011 (UTC)

- A song takes 1 month to get to 30 million. She did it in 3 days. She has a deal with radio DJs. They give her over 1000 spins in one day. You should do some research. You will surely find something. Or else, Wikipedians will think this is a "Deja Vu" 2.0 when it is actually not. Note to friends.
Yes, I am semi-retiring. It's not for good, I love editing too much. But just for a while. I've got several essays to write over the next few weeks, and I haven't really been myself recently, so I need to limit how much time I spent on Wikipedia. I will check everyday for messages, to see if my GANs get reviewed/continue being reviewed and to work on Talk That Talk articles; I will come on everyday, but will be spending less time on here. Mid-december I will be back full time :). Calvin • TalkThatTalk 16:30, 15 November 2011 (UTC)

Talk That Talk credits
You reverted my previous attempts to correct the credits with the Rihanna songs. I work at the company that manages Cirkut (Henry Walter). Cirkut co-produced "You Da One", "Where Have You Been", and "Fool In Love". He also co-wrote all of those as well. Please allow me to make these correct edits to the Talk That Talk and "You Da One" Wiki pages. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Anged02 (talk • contribs) 20:48, 15 November 2011 (UTC)

Suggestion for WFL vid
You should develop the lead for We Found Love (video) into a three-paragraph summary. I would do it myself, but I have little to no idea about the video's background and the public's reaction and seeing how you know about it best, you should write it. Once you're done, I'll be happy to copy-edit it for you. —WP:PENGUIN · [ TALK ] 01:09, 17 November 2011 (UTC)

Those wacky Germans
Hi, Calvin. I saw you revert Mallende at Loud (Rihanna album) and also at Rihanna discography. Your second reversion at Loud called Mallende's edit vandalism. Unfortunately, it was a good edit, and you failed to click through to verify it. What you apparently don't know (just as I didn't know it before I did similar things) is that the Germans have a slightly different system for their certifications. Read the Bundesverband Musikindustrie article to see how they switch back and forth between quantities of gold and quantities of platinum. They sort of treat a gold award as a half-platinum, and they count the halves... Well, read the BVMI thing and see if it's clear.
By the way, the Mexicans are kind of wacky, too. Mexican releases can get certified, for example, 3 x Platinum + Gold. In the wacky table currently at the AMPROFON site, the certs for Thalia's Thalia En Primera Fila are shown as Diamond + Gold.
And while I'm at it, I'll just gently chide you for reverting Mallende, twice, on the same article without checking the ref. I know it's a pain to check every last thing, but at least before the second reversion (and especially before labelling the edit vandalism) you could have taken a quick peek at the ref. There are few things more embarrassing to me than making a big stink about something I'm sure of, only to find out I was wrong. Believe me, I've done it before, and I'm pretty sure I did it with exactly this thing (although I don't find the diffs right now, nor the place where Kww or somebody clued me in). — JohnFromPinckney (talk) 11:43, 18 November 2011 (UTC)

- Yes, I was. But it was very different to how I was told by Live Nation that it was going to be. We waited nearly 2 hours after the show to meet her, then when I met her, itwas so quick I don't feel like I've even met her. I'm really happy that I've met and got a photo, but it was so controlled in there that it kinda took something away from it. Calvin • TalkThatTalk 02:27, 19 November 2011 (UTC)

The set list was the same as always on European leg, except she cut Take A Bow and sung We Found Love as the encore. I got lots of pics for her articles! I got a lot for Skin (Rihanna song)!! The reason is simple, both my mum and dad are bad in English, or to be honest they don't know how to say a sentence in English, don't listen to Rihanna or Beyonce or Katy or Gaga (My mum sometimes plays their songs, but don't understand the lyrics of course hah) and they simply don't know the themes of those songs. - I was sitting next to a family, and their daughters were 6 and 8, at a RIHANNA concert, which means lots of self touching, raunchy dance routines and swearing lol. I'm 19 and respect my parents, obviously, but they wouldn't tell me not to go to a concert, but a think a concert is a bad example here of your parents telling you not to do something. My parents would say they prefer me not to do something, but I am 20 in 5 months, I'm an adult, so it is up to me what I decide to do. Calvin • TalkThatTalk 16:30, 19 November 2011 (UTC)

In Talk That Talk it says it is a departure from the "dark themes" of Rated R and Loud. Is Loud really dark themed? I also like "Red Lipstick", it really reminds of "Mad House" from Rated R! What I really miss on the album is a strong ballad, however all in all is fine. - I think it's already #1 in the UK lol. And I thought Mary and Michael would be competition for Rihanna, but they don't seem be at all going by iTunes. Drake is keeping Rihanna off of #1 iTunes at the moment. We Found Love, You Da One and Take Care are all in the top ten on US iTunes. Calvin • TalkThatTalk 19:59, 21 November 2011 (UTC)
- Actually Talk That Talk is now #1 on US iTunes. Take Care is #2. However, there are Nickelback. #8 goes to Mary J. and Michael is not even in the top ten. Sees perspective situation for Rihanna. It would be great if both "We Found Love" and Talk That Talk hit the top in a same week.— Tomica1111 • Question Existing? 20:04, 21 November 2011 (UTC)

Loud is R&B?
A big lol to that. Loud won that R&B/Soul Award. OMG, this is incredible. I cannot see any soul or R&B in it. Hmmm, perhaps a bit of R&B, however, no single except WMN reflected this genre. Rihanna should have been nominated in another category. This only proves how commercial award shows have become. I am not trying to tell that Beyonce is 100% R&B but 4 is indeed an R&B/Soul album. Critics have said that. I hope the Grammys will be fair. ★Jivesh 1205★ (talk / ♫♫Give 4 a try!!!♫♫) 05:44, 21 November 2011 (UTC)
- Rihanna is an R&B singer. And Loud is an electro-R&B album. Look on the Loud article and Ctrl+F and type in R&B. Raining Men, What's My Name?, Fading and California King Bed are R&B songs. Calvin • TalkThatTalk 11:43, 21 November 2011 (UTC)
- Well, frankly Calvin, people vote for an album knowing about their singles. The only R&B singles were WMN and RM. Nevertheless, WMN took an eternity to start getting good spins on urban radios. RM was a flop. Please do not mind but that's the truth because it reached only 48 on the Hip Hop R&B chart and that transitions into less than 3 million AI. How many people do you think know about "Fading". And please do not talk about CKB. It did not even chart on the R&B chart. With all that being said, Rihanna won only because of votes. If there was jury there sitting and having a true sense of honesty, Rihanna would not even have been nominated in an R&B category because Loud is not R&B. The name of the album itself suggests that. Rihanna believe or not is now a pop artist. Anyway, where is the soul on the album? The biggest singles from Loud were all pop-electro oriented. ★Jivesh 1205★ (talk / ♫♫Give 4 a try!!!♫♫) 11:50, 21 November 2011 (UTC)
- (edit conflict) CKB charted at number 3 on the UK R&B chart, so it is an R&B song and Loud is an R&B album. And I don't think the name of an album is a valid argument, because 4 isn't really an R&B name, you can't really say that for any album name tbh. No, Rihanna is not a pop artist. Actually, she is Pop rock/R&B. Good Girl Gone Bad, Rated R, Loud and Talk That Talk all have rock influences. That is the category she should have won. But if this is all about Rihanna winning over Beyonce...? Calvin • TalkThatTalk 11:58, 21 November 2011 (UTC)
- Lol @ what you just wrote. I never said Loud cannot be the name of an R&B album, i simply said it suggests it cannot be one. And why are you always bringing other stuffs in any discussion. Stick to the topic. UK R&B chart just like the Australia Urban Chart are crap. Do you think "Sweet Dreams" is an R&B song? I don't think so. As the name suggests it, AMAs is for America, not the UK. Where is the soul on Loud? And since you are bringing non-album tracks... how can Loud be more R&B or soulful than 1+1, Love On Top, Rather Die Young, Lay Up Under Me or Schoolin Life? Just in case you are not aware, AMAs have a category called Pop/Rock and that's where Loud belongs to if not Rihanna. If i remember well, you said it has rock influences and its sound is more electro-pop. And this is not about Rihanna winning over Beyonce... It is about an album not containing a single soulful track winning over albums like 4 and F.A.M.E which are not only R&B but also soulful, instead of being electropop and containing rock influences. ★Jivesh 1205★ (talk / ♫♫Give 4 a try!!!♫♫) 12:03, 21 November 2011 (UTC)
- (edit conflict) "Rihanna would not even have been nominated in an R&B category because Loud is not R&B", you said Loud isn't R&B. Look Jivesh, Rihanna won the award, not Beyonce. It's not the end of the world. And saying about Raining Men only charting at number 48 on the R&B chart, that's better than what the some of the 4 singles and songs have managed to do with single release, live performances and music videos. I don't see why you have come here saying how undeserving Rihanna is of the award, if it was the other way around, I wouldn't have come to you saying that Loud has been out longer, been more successful and is a better album. It is what it is. Beyonce won the Female R&B/Soul artist award anyway, it's not as if she didn't get recognition. And I know they have that category, I just said that didn't I?? Rihanna is a Pop rock/R&B artist, she is not completely electro. Only WMN? had the electro genre. You edit conflicted me 4 times Jivesh, just let me reply, you just made 8 consecutive changes. Calvin • TalkThatTalk 12:17, 21 November 2011 (UTC)
- Even more nonsense. In the US, it is people's requests on urban radios that make songs chart. In case you do not know my dear, the Hip Hop R&B chart is solely based on airplay. As long as "Raining Men" was released to Urban radios, it is a single on the urban format. If i remember well, Beyonce did not re-release her songs to urban radios, right? Live performances by Beyonce? Where my dear? Do you think people requesting on Urban radios watch that flop show Late Night With Jimee? Those people only watch BET.
RTW reached number 31 on the US Hip Hop R&B chart, BTINH reached number 4, Countdown has so far reached number 36 (and it was not sent to that format), LOT has reached number 51 (and it was not sent to that format), "Party" is coming for Jigga's wig this week at number one.
This argument is even more BS than anything else Loud has been out longer, been more successful and is a better album That would imply awards are getting commercial. Let me correct that, they already are. In case you did not know, 4 got 36 professional reviews. Open your eyes big because i wrote 36 and yet it has an average score of 72 while Loud had 67 with 25 reviews (if i am not wrong).
I never said Rihanna does not deserve any award. She deserves awards in the Pop/Rock category. Not R&B. This is the biggest joke of the year in the music industry. And i still want a reply... how can Loud be more R&B or soulful than 1+1, I Miss You, Party, Love On Top, Rather Die Young, Lay Up Under Me, Dance For You or Schoolin Life? ★Jivesh 1205★ (talk / ♫♫Give 4 a try!!!♫♫) 12:28, 21 November 2011 (UTC)
- Jivesh, you started this argument! You posted here first! And winning the R&B/Soul award does not mean you have to be both R&B and Soul. That is the only album category for R&B, R&B and Soul, and Soul music. Loud falls under the R&B umbrella. And I said "of the award", not "any award". To be honest, this is getting playground like. Rihanna won the award, there's nothing no one can do about it, whether people agree or disagree, like or dislike. And why are you bringing up reviews?? Calvin • TalkThatTalk 12:37, 21 November 2011 (UTC)
- Because you wrote is a better album. And i really think you have a big problem in reading and understanding. I wrote I never said Rihanna does not deserve any award. She deserves awards in the Pop/Rock category. Not R&B. This means i was not referring to any of your own comments. Anyway, let it be. Again, it surprised me with what you are saying here, saying it is stupid that Rihanna won the award and that it is the biggest flop for the music industry this year. I may read things and write down what I think straight away without thinking about it, but you take things too seriously. It's just an award at the end of the day. We know 4 is critically acclaimed anyway, an award is just another piece of acclaim. And what does "I am not stepping in your playground again." supposed to mean? Calvin • TalkThatTalk 12:47, 21 November 2011 (UTC)
- I never said flop. You see how wrong you interpret things. I said joke. And yes, if that is the way, you interpret things (again), then i feel it is "stupid" she won in that category. Just like if Beyonce wins the Best Pop Vocals at the Grammys for "1+1", will be treated like a joke. And you said it best an award is just another piece of acclaim. We do not give awards for being successful. The depth of the material should be taken into consideration. I will never forget how you treated Beyonce. Well, i did not mean we will not talk any longer. We have to talk, especially because of the "Te Amo" review, which is not over yet. After that, i simply do not know and do not want to know. And remember one day, someone else may come and post Calvin, I may read things and write down what I think straight away without thinking about it, but you take things too seriously. I don't know how much more of this I am supposed to take in life. I can't deal with people firing all different things at me when I don't even start things. All I ever try to do is do my best with people, both in reality and virtually, and it is always me who gets put in the corner. I'm so sick of it. - I just feel like whatever I do is never fucking good enough, I just can't take things like this anymore. How you feel is how I felt just now Jivesh. You came here saying that you disagreed with Rihanna winning that award. I was either going to agree or disagree. I disagreed and gave a reason as to why I disagreed, but it quickly got out of hand. You are not wrong for having that opinion, but neither am I. Opinions are neither right nor wrong. I think it's best if we don't talk about Rihanna or Beyonce in the same thread of conversation, because they are clearly two subjects in which we are very opinionated in. And you are one of my closest WP friends as well, as I've said multiple times. My opinion of you would never change. Calvin • TalkThatTalk 13:32, 21 November 2011 (UTC)

Are you ready for me?
Hello, Calvin. You didn't know this, but when I signed up for Wikipedia, I had a four-part plan. 1. Introduce Myself and Get Popular. I already did this. 2. Make Friends. I did this, as well. 3. Make Small Edits to Articles. I also achieved this. I haven't done part four quite yet. Part four is to be a real editor. You have probably noticed I haven't been a serious editor yet, but that's all about to change. I am ready to expand pages, make GA's, and earn the respect of people. I want to be the person that people come to for questions, not be the one that asks them. I'm ready to get serious. Starting next Sunday, I will be a good editor, and I want you to know. BenWasHere (talk) 20:30, 21 November 2011 (UTC)
- Erm...okay?! Lol. You don't need to tell me or prove anything to me Ben. If you want to be a more regular editor, then do it. Lol. Calvin • TalkThatTalk 00:13, 22 November 2011 (UTC)

- (edit conflict) The critical sources don't specifically say "Regage song" or "Dubstep song". The word 'song' has to be after the genre to include it in the info box. Those two are in the Composition section as influences anyway. And no, I reply on my talk page. Calvin • TalkThatTalk 14:13, 23 November 2011 (UTC)

Calvin, the chart debut here is the US Hot Digital Songs chart, not the Hot 100. TC will debut most likely between number 9 to 14 on the Hot 100. Jivesh 1205 (talk) 17:43, 23 November 2011 (UTC)

- Calvin, i fear it won't happen. Nickel (something) is a good album seller. Do not forget physical sales. US=/=UK., In US, people can kill for a physical copy. Jivesh 1205 (talk) 17:51, 23 November 2011 (UTC)
- Yeah, but it has been number one on iTunes for a few days now, Nickelback haven't been. Can you believe Drake sold 631,000 copies of his album? Calvin • TalkThatTalk 17:53, 23 November 2011 (UTC)
- Calvin, i realize that three versions of TTT are in the iTunes top 100 but you know, even though Rihanna may score several number one singles, people do not really buy her albums in the US. When I Am... Sasha Fierce debuted at number one with 482,000 copies sold in November 2008, Beyonce was at number 7 on the Digital Albums Chart (iTunes). Physical sales have much power in the US. And this is why Drake numbers are so high. Drake, just like Beyonce, have loyal physical copy buyers. Jivesh 1205 (talk) 17:57, 23 November 2011 (UTC)
- (edit conflict) I think she is definitely looking at top three, and number one on the R&B/Hip Hop chart, like Loud did. She is pretty much already number one in the UK. Calvin • TalkThatTalk 17:59, 23 November 2011 (UTC)
- Sure. She will hit number one in the UK and number two (most probably) in the US. I think in the US, Rihanna will be between 180,000 to 210,000 while that Nickel will be 220,000 to 240,000. Jivesh 1205 (talk) 18:01, 23 November 2011 (UTC)

Fixed. Jivesh 1205 (talk) 18:05, 23 November 2011 (UTC)
- Just because it might not debut at one next week, it doesn't mean that it won't at all. Loud debuted at number three with 207,000 copies, but re-peaked at number three in it's 13th week with just 62,000 copies. It all depends who is releasing. Calvin • TalkThatTalk 18:09, 23 November 2011 (UTC)
- Calvin, think with a cool mind. If Loud could not got further than three (at that time), when it had two number one singles both at over 100 million AI, it will indeed be difficult this time as well. This is why Calvin, i tell you that US=/=UK. If you have a number one single in the UK, your album automatically enters the top 15 (at least) but that's not the case in the US. For instance, look at Mary J. Blige. Her first single from the new album is a flop (if i may say so) and there is no hype around her album's release. Nevertheless, she will sell healthily (again in the US). If her single performed batter (at least debuted on the Hot 100, this is what the word better implies here. Lol), she might have crossed the 300,000 mark like she has always done.Jivesh 1205 (talk) 18:13, 23 November 2011 (UTC)
- (edit conflict) Yeah I know. But Rihanna hasn't had a lead single selling as strong as We Found Love since Umbrella, which made Good Girl Gone Bad debut at number 2. We Found Love has been at number one on the Hot 100 for a month now, I think she has a good chance of either number one or number two. Calvin • TalkThatTalk 18:17, 23 November 2011 (UTC)
- Let's hope for the best. Jivesh 1205 (talk) 18:21, 23 November 2011 (UTC)
- I know she has been extremely successful with her singles, but I still feel like she isn't critically acclaimed because she doesn't have a Top 200 #1. I know she has topped the R&B/Hip Hop album chart several times, but it isn't the same. Calvin • TalkThatTalk 19:13, 23 November 2011 (UTC)

Ross Parkin suggested deletion
Hi Calvin I wanted to write you a line because I'm not sure if I was right in editing your comment in regards to the deletion of the article I have created for Ross 'Dights' Parkin. If I wasn't supposed to do that, I apologise.
Anyway, I edited it to explain why I think there's merit in keeping the article on Ross Parkin.

I wouldn't call any of Beyonce's video's soft porn, apart from the dominatrix scene in WDYLM, but it's brief, and yes she does wear PVC in Greenlight. Calvin • TalkThatTalk 17:52, 24 November 2011 (UTC)

Disturbia
I resolved your given issues and commented on the articles GAN. — Tomica1111 • Question Existing? 17:52, 16 November 2011 (UTC)
- From Talk That Talk: Early reviews of Talk That Talk have been generally positive with critics noting the departure of the darker elements seen in her previous two albums, Loud and Rated R, in favor of a more relaxed sound. OMG! Rated R contained dark, very dark elements, but Loud?! The source mentions Man Down and LTWYL II as the darker elements, which I don't agree with. Only Girl, What's My Name?, Raining Men, S&M, Skin dark elements? Nooo ... I suggest deletion of the sentence. — Tomica1111 • Question Existing? 15:39, 17 November 2011 (UTC)
- Lol I disagree with you, Man Down and LTWYL are Loud's darker moments. The others are light. Calvin • TalkThatTalk 15:41, 17 November 2011 (UTC)
- But the album is not departure from the darker elements. LOUD was the departure. Yeah, there were like two dark tracks, so what? It doesn't mean that the album was darker and you know the best, because we worked together on the album's article. I really don't like the sentence. — Tomica1111 • Question Existing? 15:43, 17 November 2011 (UTC)
- Loud as a whole isn't dark, i agree, but i disagree that you think Only Girl, What's My Name?, Raining Men, S&M and Skin are dark, they are just about sex, whereas Man Down is about murder and LTWYL is about domestic violence. Calvin • TalkThatTalk 15:47, 17 November 2011 (UTC)
- Noooo, you didn't get me. I wanted to say that Only Girl, What's My Name?, Raining Men, S&M and Skin are NOT dark. For that the sentence is illogical. Got me? — Tomica1111 • Question Existing? 15:52, 17 November 2011 (UTC)

I really don't like the sentence. — Tomica1111 • Question Existing? 15:43, 17 November 2011 (UTC)
- Lol I disagree with you, Man Down and LTWYL are Loud's darker moments. The others are light. Calvin • TalkThatTalk 15:41, 17 November 2011 (UTC)

- Hey "Talk That Talk" charted at number 40 in Ireland. I wanted to create the article, but it redirects to the album. Should I ask an admin for to create it ? — Tomica1111 • Question Existing? 16:50, 25 November 2011 (UTC)
I know that this might be part of the WP:SIGN guidelines, but I didn't see it anywhere.
How do you design your name (blue Calvin [I know that you can change your wiki markup] and red TalkThatTalk)? Ian Streeter (talk) 17:23, 24 November 2011 (UTC)
- It's in my signaure when you click on edit. What do you want? I'll have a go at it. Calvin • TalkThatTalk 17:30, 24 November 2011 (UTC)
- Like how do you do all of this? Ian Streeter (talk) 18:48, 24 November 2011 (UTC)
- You just have to play about with it. It's hard to explain. Calvin • TalkThatTalk 18:49, 24 November 2011 (UTC)
- I don't care if you give a very LONG description. I still just want you to tell me because I just don't want the plain old blue text that I have. Ian Streeter (talk) 18:55, 24 November 2011 (UTC)
- Well, use mine. And play about with the colours and fonts. [[User:Calvin999|<font color ="blue" face= "Aharoni">'''Calvin '''</font>]]• [[User talk:Calvin999|<font color="red">'''Talk'''</font><font color="red">'''That'''</font><font color="red">'''Talk'''</font>]]

- Well be more specific on what to do rather than just play around with those things. Like how did you do yours? Did you insert all that weird text or did you just type in ~~~~? If you only typed in the four tildes, I just HAVE TO KNOW HOW TO DO THIS EASILY. Ian Streeter (talk) 19:52, 24 November 2011 (UTC)

HELLO? Ian Streeter (talk) 22:34, 24 November 2011 (UTC)
I'm sorry, but, I think it's really rude of you to keep write "Hello". Look at my contributions, you will find nothing from the las 3 and a half hours, so I obviously haven't been online. Contrary to popular belief, I am NOT on Wikpedia 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. I have been out for over 3 and a half hours with friends. So, if you think I am going to help you now, you've got another think coming. Calvin • TalkThatTalk 23:36, 24 November 2011 (UTC)
- okay. i'm sorry. but can we continue with the conversation? Ian Streeter (talk) 23:44, 24 November 2011 (UTC)
- Haven't you learned anything from all those warnings and countless blocks? You need to re-think how you put yourself across because you have really put my back up. Calvin • TalkThatTalk 23:48, 24 November 2011 (UTC)
I, Ian Streeter (talk), pledge not to be mean to user Calvin999. Absolutely no exceptions on being mean or "Hello?"-ish.

GA ?
i am ready to start getting serious and my main goal is all riri articles getting to GA. i have two questions. number one: where can i be a part of the conversation? is it on the talk page of the article or is there a special page for pending GA's? number two: what happens? do the admins tell us what to do and if we obey they pass it? thanks. i will email u soon. ;) BenWasHere (talk) 18:43, 25 November 2011 (UTC)
- What do you mean part of conversation? And no, admins don't tell you what to do with GAs, they aren't involved with it. You have to do it yourself, and you can work on an article with someone else, if that person wants to. Calvin • Watch n' Learn 18:49, 25 November 2011 (UTC)
- if i wanted to help with an article, say Te Amo after i nominated it, could there be a talk page for it to help it reach the status and discuss ideas to make the page better? or do i just work on it? BenWasHere (talk) 18:56, 25 November 2011 (UTC)
- First, Te Amo is currently being reviewed lol. And no, there may be suggestions on the talk page, but you would have to bring the article up to the standard of what other GAs are like. Personally, and I'm not saying this because I made it a GA, but S&M (song) is the best Rihanna GA. It's had a lot of input because of all the Peer Reviews, GANs and FACs, so it's a very good article. But, I would suggest you list an article to be WP:Peer Review first, because then someone will go through the article and tell you what do improve. It's best you start like that, as you learn by others. Calvin • Watch n' Learn 19:01, 25 November 2011 (UTC)
- thank you, i am certainly still learning, and i think i will start one next weekend. BenWasHere (talk) 19:06, 25 November 2011 (UTC)
- actually if you go to wp rihanna you will see discussion pages: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Talk:Disturbia_%28song%29/GA1 BenWasHere (talk) 19:24, 25 November 2011 (UTC)
- Yeah I know, but you only get that when someone reviews your GA nomination. Calvin • Watch n' Learn 19:25, 25 November 2011 (UTC)
