Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited 2020 group, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page George Freeman (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. Please make sure to include an edit summary. Please provide one before saving your changes to an article, as the summaries are quite helpful to people browsing an article's history. Thanks! Fiddle Faddle (talk) 21:33, 23 October 2012 (UTC)Reply

Your move of Jersey child abuse investigation 2008

edit

I have reverted this unexplained move. WHile WIkipedia appreciates editors being bold the moving of well established articles generally requires at least a rationale to be given when moving, and at best a full consensus. PLease consider such moves with substantially more care before performing them. Proposing the move in the article's talk page is the correct process to follow when in doubt. In this case you should most assuredly have been in doubt.

I am not saying that the move was, of itself, incorrect. I am saying most clearly that the draconian movement of the article was, in this case, the wrong way of going about it. Fiddle Faddle (talk) 21:42, 23 October 2012 (UTC)Reply

ArbCom elections are now open!

edit

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Labour leader listed at Redirects for discussion

edit

An editor has asked for a discussion to address the redirect Labour leader. Since you had some involvement with the Labour leader redirect, you might want to participate in the redirect discussion if you have not already done so. --Nevéselbert 07:17, 22 May 2017 (UTC)Reply
