Welcome to Wikipedia and thank you for your contribution(s). I am glad to see that you are discussing a topic. However, as a general rule, while user talk pages permit a small degree of generalisation, other talk pages such as Talk:Marjorie Taylor Greene are strictly for discussing improvements to their associated main pages, and many of them have special instructions on the top. They are not a general discussion forum about the article's topic or any other topic. If you have questions or ideas and are not sure where to post them, consider asking at the Teahouse. Thanks. Partial block

edit

You have been blocked indefinitely from Talk:Marjorie Taylor Greene. If you behave in the same way on any other pages, you risk being blocked from the entire site. Bishonen | tålk 09:12, 12 November 2022 (UTC).Reply

You failed to note that she won re-election with nearly 75% of the vote. Cadillacmike (talk) 09:14, 12 November 2022 (UTC)Reply
Who, me? I'm here as an administrator; I haven't edited the article, and don't intend to. But I forgot to mention that you can request unblock from an uninvolved administrator by placing {{unblock|your reason here}} on this page. Bishonen | tålk 11:00, 12 November 2022 (UTC).Reply
The account was dormant for 4 1/2 years. I have to wonder if it was hacked. ←Baseball Bugs What's up, Doc? carrots13:34, 12 November 2022 (UTC)Reply
I wasn't hacked. I just don't bother with it any longer after edits I make with direct quotes from published authorities get reverted because someone doesn't like them. Like my edits to the Midway article. My edits come from the SAME Parshall / Tully book, - if the people who keep reverting them would bother to read.Cadillacmike (talk) 15:48, 12 November 2022 (UTC)Reply
Did you bring this up to the user who reverted it? ←Baseball Bugs What's up, Doc? carrots17:41, 12 November 2022 (UTC)Reply
SUPPOSEDLY, the reverter READ the book, and if he didn't well, then, that's one of my issues with the site in general. Cadillacmike (talk) 17:47, 12 November 2022 (UTC)Reply
In other words, you didn't ask? ←Baseball Bugs What's up, Doc? carrots17:53, 12 November 2022 (UTC)Reply
The article says she won. The percentages are unsurprising. ←Baseball Bugs What's up, Doc? carrots13:27, 12 November 2022 (UTC)Reply
Well, only about 15 or so of the 435 seats were won by a 75% or better margin That's only about 3.6%, so it WAS an impressive margin. Cadillacmike (talk) 15:52, 12 November 2022 (UTC)Reply
Less impressive if you take her constituency into account. :) ←Baseball Bugs What's up, Doc? carrots17:38, 12 November 2022 (UTC)Reply
Your above remark IS an attack on all her constituents, but you won't get banned or anything. I could make a similar remark about Pelosi's constituents, but I won't.Cadillacmike (talk) 17:43, 12 November 2022 (UTC)Reply
You overlooked the smiley. :) ←Baseball Bugs What's up, Doc? carrots17:53, 12 November 2022 (UTC)Reply
You are correct, I didn't notice it, but it was Still uncalled for. And no I'm not in Georgia. Cadillacmike (talk) 17:55, 12 November 2022 (UTC)Reply
Lucky you. :) In any case, if 75 percent of her district's voters want her, they've got her. That's how it works. ←Baseball Bugs What's up, Doc? carrots18:13, 12 November 2022 (UTC)Reply
