An inline citation might look like <ref>{{cite web |url=http://www.cbsnews.com |title= CBS News headlines |date= 29 October 2013 |accessdate= 29 October 2013 |work= cbsnew.com}}</ref> This would go next to the item that is being cited. A number in brackets such as [4] would replace the reference and the reference would be below the {{reflist}} See wp:cite and template:cite web for more information. I formatted two of the external links, but did not use "cite web" The nowiki /nowiki is used to show raw formatting code and generally should not be added to articles. One trick is to look a other pages that you like or has formatting you want, click on the "Edit" tab at the top and copy what you need, being careful of course, to not change the page. I need to sign off here, so I am not going to do more. Drop me a note and I'll get back to you tomorrow. Cheers Jim1138 (talk) 09:17, 28 October 2013 (UTC)Reply
