One rule we do have in connection with conflicts of interest is that accounts used by more than one person will unfortunately be blocked from editing. Wikipedia generally does not allow editors to have usernames which imply that the account belongs to a company or corporation. If you have a username like this, you should request a change of username or create a new account. (A name that identifies the user as an individual within a given organization may be OK.)

In addition, if you receive, or expect to receive, compensation for any contribution you make, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation to comply with our terms our use and policy on paid editing.

Username

Hi, I saw the draft you were working on, and noticed that your username seems to match the company you are describing in the draft. As well as familiarising yourself with our conflict of interest policies, you should be aware of our username policy, particularly the section about usernames that represent organisations. You need to select a username that represents you as an individual, it can't be a company name, or something that implies you share it with other people. Speedy deletion nomination of Draft:Copy 1

A tag has been placed on Draft:Copy 1, requesting that it be deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under two or more of the criteria for speedy deletion, by which pages can be deleted at any time, without discussion. Hello, Butlerluxurycaterer. Thank you for helping to build Wikipedia-- the world's largest free content encyclopedia. I'm sorry, but a page you created  Draft:Copy 1 has been deleted as meeting one or more of the Categories for Speedy Deletion.

Wikipedia is an encyclopedia-- subjects of articles must meet notability guidelines with reliable sources which are unconnected with the subject and which provide verifiable information. Someone unconnected with the subject needs to have written a great deal about the subject.

Any deficiencies should be remedied before reposting as they can lead to repeated deletions.

 Draft:Copy 1 has been deleted

Hello, Butlerluxurycaterer. Thank you for helping to build Wikipedia. I'm sorry, but  Draft:Copy 1 has been deleted as meeting WP:CSD#G12. Wikipedia is the world's largest free content encyclopedia. As such, it cannot contain content copyrighted elsewhere. Such content must be completely rewritten and reformatted from scratch. Content published elsewhere copied into Wikipedia must state that it is public domain, licensed under the GFDL, or a creative commons license. That's the simple version. WP:copyright is a vastly complex issue, but if you keep to what I've written you are unlikely to run afoul.

Content copied and pasted from a subject's web page is generally unhelpful. It is generally written in a promotional tone and is not independent of the subject. All content must be cited from reliable sources that are unconnected with the subject and have a reputation for fact checking. Cheers, and happy editing.

There have been two problems with this account: the account has been used for advertising or promotion, which is contrary to the purpose of Wikipedia, and your username indicates that the account represents a business or other organisation or group or a web site, which is also against policy, as an account must be for just one person. Because of those problems, the account has been blocked indefinitely from editing.

If you intend to make useful contributions about some topic other than your business or organisation, you may request an unblock. To do so, post the text {{unblock-spamun|Your proposed new username|Your reason here}} at the bottom of your talk page. Replace the text "Your proposed new username" with a new username you are willing to use. See Special:CentralAuth to search for available usernames. Your new username will need to meet our username policy. Replace the text "Your reason here" with your reason to be unblocked. In that reason, you must:

• Convince us that you understand the reason for your block and that you will not repeat the kind of edits for which you were blocked.
• Describe in general terms the contributions that you intend to make if you are unblocked.
