The thank button

Hi. It is not really necessary to use the thank button except in a handful of cases where you want to show apprectiation. Thanking hundreds of editors for edits made 2 years ago can come off as notification spamming. As noted above, the thank button should only be used in special cases where you appreciate the edit another editor has made. I am not sure if you have a bot for this but if you're thanking 3 random users per minute randomly, it constitutes as spamming and you may be blocked from editing. — Berrely • TalkContribs 08:41, 1 August 2021 (UTC)Reply
