The thank button

Hi. It is not really necessary to use the thank button except in a handful of cases where you want to show apprectiation. Thanking hundreds of editors for edits made 2 years ago can come off as notification spamming. Thanks spamming

As noted above, the thank button should only be used in special cases where you appreciate the edit another editor has made. I am not sure if you have a bot for this but if you're thanking 3 random users per minute randomly, it constitutes as spamming and you may be blocked from editing. — Berrely • ^Talk∕_Contribs 08:41, 1 August 2021 (UTC)
