Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. This is a message letting you know that one or more of your recent edits to Peter T. King has been undone by an automated computer program called ClueBot NG.

Thank you. ClueBot NG (talk) 02:05, 30 May 2015 (UTC)Reply

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Please be particularly aware that Wikipedia's policy on edit warring states:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made.
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes; work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. Materialscientist (talk) 03:03, 30 May 2015 (UTC)Reply

Unblock Request

edit

This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy).

BoontonTown (block logactive blocksglobal blockscontribsdeleted contribsfilter logcreation logchange block settingsunblockcheckuser (log))

Request reason:

An unblock request guideline says that you must properly address the reason for your block, and I shall do so. I am not a sockpuppet of that IP editor. I just happen to have that page on my watchlist, and when I looked at his changes, I agreed with them, and I felt that they were in the right, so I re-deleted the material that he deleted. Then, AddWittyNameHere called me a "block-evading sockpuppet" without any proof in the edit summary, which is a personal attack. Just because I agree with that user does not mean I'm a sockpuppet of said user. Do you even have any technical evidence that I am him/her?

Decline reason:

As the discussion below makes clear, this is an experienced user evading scrutiny with this account in order to edit-war. Acroterion (talk) 22:28, 30 May 2015 (UTC)Reply

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

You're an experienced editor who is using this new account to evade scrutiny on your other account or otherwise mask your identity. That's not allowed. --Jayron32 18:49, 30 May 2015 (UTC)Reply
For the last time, that other IP editor is not me! This is the only account I have. The reason I sound experienced is because I actually read Wikipedia's policies before majorly editing articles. BoontonTown (talk) 19:04, 30 May 2015 (UTC)Reply
Even if you're not that IP editor, you've been here a long time, and are using this new account to mask your identity while doing disruptive actions. Also not allowed. The whole "Really I just found Wikipedia a few days ago, I didn't even know it existed, but I read the manuals and that's why I know this stuff" excuse is as trite and tired as the my brother did it excuse. We've heard it a billion times before. If you want to edit, log in using your main account, or better yet, just go away. --Jayron32 19:09, 30 May 2015 (UTC)Reply
I think you should learn to WP:AGF, please. While it's true I've been here a while, I've previously edited under an IP address, not under an account, so I'm telling the truth when I say this is my only account. I did not perform any disruptive actions with these edits. If you really believe that I'm abusing multiple accounts, I think a CheckUser should be performed, or an SPI should be opened first, before you unilaterally block me. Also, telling someone to "go away" is uncivil BoontonTown (talk) 19:45, 30 May 2015 (UTC)Reply
Oh, so now you're not a new user. You're willingness to change your story every time someone calls you on your bullshit is part of the reason why my good faith has been used up. --Jayron32 21:05, 30 May 2015 (UTC)Reply
