If you'd like to test what Wikipedia can do, check out the sandbox - just type and save the page and your text will appear. That's the beauty of a Wiki.

For more information check out our tutorial - it's designed with newcomers in mind, as is the help section. If you'd like to get involved with current projects, have a look at the Community Portal. There are always tasks for users to do, ranging from copyediting to expanding stubs.

I hope you'll enjoy your time here, but be warned, it can become addictive! Feel free to message me, I'm more than happy to help. As an added tip, sign any message you post so users know that you've said it. To do so is delightfully simple, just use the wikicode ~~~~.

Once again, welcome!

Michael

Special shows

You've tagged it for deletion as a userspace page - but it isn't. If you do want it deleted, it should be tagged {{db-G7}}. Cheers. Peridon (talk) 15:11, 12 December 2011 (UTC)Reply

Hugo Award for Best Dramatic Presentation tables

edit

Hey, gotta say, love what you did with the tables in the article- I didn't know they supported full sorting with multi-row divisions like that now! Sorry for reverting you at first. Question, though- before, there were sort keys so that the winner always was on top- the entries for 1960 would have the winner as 19601 and the other nominees as 19602. Do you know if there's a way to keep that functionality with the multi-year thing? (Also- per WP:COLOR, even though it looks better you have to have the asterisks as well as the blue color to denote winners- screen readers for visually impaired people otherwise won't denote the winners, and they care about that for featured lists.) --PresN 06:53, 23 February 2012 (UTC)Reply

Ooh, that may be a bit out of my brain-space at the moment. Could the sort keys be moved to the next column? Would that help? (And, thanks for the info on featured lists, didn't know there was a reason.) Bobliveson (talk) 07:41, 23 February 2012 (UTC)Reply
