Managing a conflict of interest

edit

Hello, Blackhawk62. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on the page P-Rock, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:

In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.

Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. ~ ToBeFree (talk) 18:46, 13 April 2023 (UTC)Reply

I was the owner of this business and I am trying to correct misinformation as the current ‘ownership’ info on the wikipedia page is completely wrong 2A00:23C7:CF2D:9201:BCC8:E394:CEA5:A5A9 (talk) 18:58, 13 April 2023 (UTC)Reply
Thank you very much for the clarification. Discussing the matter on the article's talk page, Talk:P-Rock#p-rock_tv_ownership, is exactly the right decision in this situation. Please discuss until a consensus is found; seek dispute resolution such as a third opinion if the discussion goes in circles or comes to a standstill. But for now, best keep it on the article's talk page.
FlightTime and Ponyo may like to join the discussion.
Before a consensus is found, please do not restore your preferred revision again, as doing so would be edit warring and disruptively rejecting community concerns.
Thank you very much for your patience. Best regards,
~ ToBeFree (talk) 19:44, 16 April 2023 (UTC)Reply

Please stop. If you continue to add unsourced or poorly sourced content, as you did at P-Rock, you may be blocked from editing. - FlightTime (open channel) 22:38, 13 April 2023 (UTC)Reply

The Wikipedia ownership details on the p-rock page are totally incorrect. You are accepting poorly sourced and incorrect information, please remove the ownership details of this business immediately 2A00:23C7:CF2D:9201:5992:53AE:B313:EF50 (talk) 22:48, 13 April 2023 (UTC)Reply

Talk:P-Rock is the correct place to hold this discussion; here generally isn't. ~ ToBeFree (talk) 19:45, 16 April 2023 (UTC)Reply
