Speedy deletion nomination of Talib al-Habib

A tag has been placed on Talib al-Habib requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Hi Black Jinn - I have responded to a request from another user to protect the article you created on Talib al-Habib. This is because the article has been created three times in the course of two days, and each time has had problems which caused it to be quickly deleted. The article title will be protected from re-creation unless or until these problems have been resolved.
- The article was a copyright violation of a page on the website nasheedsnow.com. Wikipedia cannot accept material which is copyrighted by others as it could cause legal issues, and is against our committment to provide freely licensed material.
- The article did state why the subject was significant. As I'm sure you understand, there are many new articles created on Wikipedia every day. We have policies and guidelines to help editors decide which subjects are suitable for an encyclopaedia; the one which applies in this case is WP:MUSIC, which outlines criteria musicians should meet before they have an article on Wikipedia. Generally, an individual will need to have been covered significantly in several independent reliable sources, such as magazines or newspapers, in order for an article to be retained. If you know that there are sources, they would be useful in looking again at the article.
