June 2018 edit

Hello, I'm Bojo1498. Wikipedia is written by people who have a wide diversity of opinions, but we try hard to make sure articles have a neutral point of view. Your recent edit to Sakshi Tanwar seemed less than neutral and has been removed. If you think this was a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. bojo | talk 13:40, 22 June 2018 (UTC)Reply

Please do not add commentary, your own point of view, or your own personal analysis to Wikipedia articles, as you did to Mahavir Singh Phogat. Doing so violates Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy and breaches the formal tone expected in an encyclopedia. We need to be careful here. Your citation says "could give" not "is" - there's a crucial difference. Also, the scale of popularity of Aamir Khan has no bearing on the article. It should suffice to say that he played the part. Welcome! edit

Hello, Birsanagarwala, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, your edit to Mahavir Singh Phogat does not conform to Wikipedia's Neutral Point of View policy (NPOV). Wikipedia articles should refer only to facts and interpretations that have been stated in print or on reputable websites or other forms of media.

There's a page about the NPOV policy that has tips on how to effectively write about disparate points of view without compromising the NPOV status of the article as a whole. If you are stuck, and looking for help, please come to the New contributors' help page, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have! Or, click here to ask for help on your talk page, and a volunteer should respond shortly. Below are a few other good links for newcomers:

Please do not add commentary, your own point of view, or your own personal analysis to Wikipedia articles, as you did to Zaira Wasim. Doing so violates Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy and breaches the formal tone expected in an encyclopedia. Thank you. MayureshK 14:12, 22 June 2018 (UTC)Reply

UTV Motion Pictures edit

I seen your edit about UTV Motion Pictures and Amir Khan. I have removed your edit because the citations focus on Amir Khan as opposed to UTV Motion Pictures. The UTV Motion Pictures article should specifically be about the company and its movies, not the people starring in the movies. Iftekharahmed96 (talk) 14:32, 22 June 2018 (UTC)Reply

June 2018 edit

Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to add soapboxing, promotional or advertising material to Wikipedia, you may be blocked from editing. Diffs: [1][2][3][4][5][6][7][8][9] Wikipedia is a neutral encyclopedia and we present information about subjects from a neutral point of view using neutral language. We are not here to drool over article subjects by presenting hyperbolic nicknames like "World's Biggest Superstar" as though they were incontrovertible fact. This content is entirely promotional and any further submission of this sort of thing will result in your editing privileges being revoked. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 15:48, 22 June 2018 (UTC)Reply
