Hello BB, I understand that you are related to this family with regard to which you seem to be making various edits on WIKI, would you kindly answer a query I have? I have not heard of this family that you are referring to. However a distant relation by marriage of ours is also from near Nileshwaram and I was wondering if you might happen to be related to them.

Are you related to Jaishankar Nambiar who is a lawyer in the Kochi High Court? His father's name is Appu Kuttan or something like that (whether he is a Nambiar or Nair I am not sure) and he was a judge/sub-judge in some Kerala court (NOT the CJ of Kerala anyway). Advocate Jai's mother's name is Chandralekha (Again Nambiar or Nair I am not sure). His sister's name is Premila. Advocate Jai is married to a certain Indu Nambiar. His sister Premila is married to a Vinod Nambiar.

Please do reply whether you know these people or this family. 117.194.228.114 (talk) 18:20, 14 May 2011 (UTC)Reply

Hi there. When editing an article on Wikipedia there is a small field labeled "Edit summary" under the main edit-box. It looks like this:

The text written here will appear on the Recent changes page, in the page revision history, on the diff page, and in the watchlists of users who are watching that article. See m:Help:Edit summary for full information on this feature.

Filling in the edit summary field greatly helps your fellow contributors in understanding what you changed, so please always fill in the edit summary field. If you are adding a section, please do not just keep the previous section's header in the Edit summary field – please fill in your new section's name instead. Thank you. - 220.101 talk\Contribs 04:56, 14 May 2011 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of Karimbil Kunhi Komen

edit

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

A tag has been placed on Karimbil Kunhi Komen requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article, which appears to be about a real person, individual animal(s), an organization (band, club, company, etc.), or web content, does not indicate how or why the subject of the article is important or significant: that is, why an article about it should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you can assert the notability of the subject,  . Clicking that button will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the the article's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. You may freely add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.

See the guidelines for specific types of articles: biographies, websites, bands, or companies. - 220.101 talk\Contribs 05:11, 14 May 2011 (UTC)Reply

A tag has been placed on Karimbil Kunhi Komen requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. If you think that this notice was placed here in error, contest the deletion by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion," which appears inside of the speedy deletion ({{db-...}}) tag (if no such tag exists, the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate). Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Konakkad

edit

Please stop adding links to Konnakkad from the Nileshwaram page. The fact that Konnakkad is 35 kilometres (22 mi) from Nileshwaram indicates that is probably not a part of the Nileshwaram municipality, but merely that Nileshwaram is the closest municipality. Nileswharam

edit

I have attempted to open a discussion of this matter on Talk:Nileshwaram to no avail, so I will open the dialog here. Why do you insist on restoring links to Karimbil Kunhi Koman, an article that was already deleted once per this discussion and which will be deleted again very soon per WP:CSD#G4 (recreation of deleted material)? This person is not notable, and the Wikipedia community has agreed on this. Also, why do you insist on linking Konnakkad to Nileshwaram simply because it is nearby? There is no evidence that Konnakkad is any part of Nileshwaram. Linking the two articles would be like linking Mumbai to Karnataka because they both happen to be in the same country! Please engage in a discussion about this rather than simply reverting the changes. Discussion is how Wikipedia works. WikiDan61ChatMe!ReadMe!! 15:30, 24 May 2011 (UTC)Reply
