Ben Grenier Biography Multi-instrumentalist born in Canada in 1966 in the province of Quebec Ben Grenier began playing drums around eight years old, the piano was his second instrument around 13 years old, being french, Benoît wanted to understand the lyrics of his favorite bands, so he decided to learn English and study music.
From a young age he was interested in technology and everything that involved a recording studio and sound in general.
At 18, he took his drums and piano and moved to Toronto to play with some bands and learn more English.
Upon his return, he began his journey in the world of production with producer John Farley (producer for Martine St-Claire) and found his passion as an arranger, studio musician and sound engineer.
The 90s, was the professional debut for Ben to produce, arrange and play on many albums for different artists of any type like new age, classical, rock, pop, etc ... He continued to play for fun on his drums with a blues band and different musicians… Now a composer he writes the music on projects that he produces for professional artists and beginners in the field. The 51-year-old singer-songwriter and musician performs and plays an old-school style in his home studio, from drums to piano, guitar, bass, keyboard, and vocals, recording, mixing and mastering the final product himself in order to further continue his career in this new generation completely different from the analog era.
