Having looked again, I am satisfied that the continuous text in the article was a copyright violation or close paraphrase of the indicated page. Copyrighted text is not allowed in Wikipedia, as outlined in this policy. That applies even to pages created by the editor or their organisation, unless they state clearly and explicitly that the text is public domain. I can see no such waiver on the copied page. There are ways to donate copyrighted text to Wikipedia, as described here; please note that simply asserting on the talk page that you are the owner of the copyright, or you have permission to use the text, isn't sufficient.

Although we will normally restore deleted text in a user subpage for improvements to be made, for legal reasons we do not restored copyright text.

Note that the article did not appear to provide independent verifiable sources to enable us to verify the facts and show that it meets the notability guidelines. Although the references are confusingly presented, they appear to be largely written by him, not independent.

I get no sense of why he is notable, a list of books means little without third-party sources to show why his work is important, if it is. I not that none of the people, organisations or books are linked to Wikipedia articles, which casts doubts on why they matter
