List of Sengoku Basara characters edit

It looks like the admins have taken action and semi-protected the page. I mentioned you were a new editor that is making proper edits to the article, so hopefully you can still edit it. If you encounter issues, then save a copy in the sandbox and maybe I can push the changes through. Thanks again and happy editing! -AngusWOOF (talk) 21:47, 12 March 2013 (UTC)Reply

Ah I shouldn't be considered a new editor though. While I may mostly lurk wikipedia than anything, I did finally sign up months back to do some editing on an article I happened to be looking at and needed some minor changes. So I do not believe that this account will be flagged as a new editor, unless wikipedia's account restrictions are that much longer than wikia's. I've seen protections were added to the article, I believe the last one just expired yesterday didn't it? Good news for the page because now it won't have to be monitored as closely but unfortunately I've noticed the same user making bad edits on the Basara wikia as well so I'm keeping an eye out there since there is no administration.
The only reason I even noticed any of this is because other people I talk to that are into the series noted the misinformation on the pages, so I decided to pop by since they're unfamiliar with wiki editing. The last few days has been me mostly digging into the page histories to see what's been going on around here for the past few months. But yeah, I'll continue to keep tabs on pages related to this series in case something else comes up! Bereou (talk) 23:32, 12 March 2013 (UTC)Reply
No prob. That's how I transitioned to Wikipedia as well! I don't know how they consider new users whether it's by posts or by age. I'm glad to know someone who knows the series can look after it now.
I have a comment on the character list itself; it's an interesting case where it refers to historical characters and thus should follow the Eastern order of names (familyname givenname), although the voice actors are all current folks who can be listed in western order (givenname familyname). Also, some of the English voice actors worked on both the games and the series, which can be lots of fun trying to find references for those. -AngusWOOF (talk) 16:43, 14 March 2013 (UTC)Reply
