Jubb edit

Hi BeautifulAngel, welcome to Wikipedia. What you have found about Mr. Jubb is a 'userspace draft', it's notes for an article I am working on. The information is sourced to reliable sources in line with the biographies of living persons policy. Could you explain your objection to the content and your deleting of that sourced draft information? I'd like to understand better. We do have mechanisms for discussing deletion of biography articles for marginally notable figures, but we need a good reason, particularly when there may be a public interest in having an article. Let me know more and I'm happy to talk with you or bring in some uninvolved editors to exchange ideas. Cheers, Ocaasi t | c 22:24, 22 February 2014 (UTC)Reply

I've removed one of the less reliable sources and tagged the page as a userspace draft so it shouldn't show up in google search results. That might take a few hours/days to kick in. Let me know if you have any other questions. Best, Ocaasi t | c 22:40, 22 February 2014 (UTC)Reply
Hello again. I personally think David Jubb is a notable public health figure, but I'm happy to look into this further. Would you be able to send a request to our response queue at info-en-q@wikimedia.org sent from Mr. Jubb's email or a company account explaining the basis for wanting the content removed. Do you believe it is in violation of the biographies of living persons policy we have? In the event that we cannot form a consensus, you are always free to nominate the article for deletion and go through a 1-week community discussion based on the subject's request to have the content removed.
Our policy for such discussions is explained here: Wikipedia:Deletion_policy#Deletion_of_biographies_and_BLPs and here: Wikipedia:Biographies_of_living_persons#Summary_deletion.2C_creation_prevention.2C_and_courtesy_blanking. The actual process for nominating an article is explained here: Wikipedia:Articles_for_deletion#Nominating_article.28s.29_for_deletion.
I'm happy to help walk you through it, but at this point I'm not prepared to remove the content. If you'd like some other opinions from other editors which may differ from mine, you can also drop by our Biographies of Living Persons Noticeboard and get some opinions from other editors. Hi BA, I've corresponded with Mr. Jubb, removed the NY Post Source, and created a proper draft: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:Ocaasi/David_Jubb. Please take another look at the content and let me know what you think. Cheers, Ocaasi t | c 21:13, 23 February 2014 (UTC)Reply
