 Tips
  • Don't be afraid to edit! Just find something that can be improved and make it better. Other editors will help fix any mistakes you make.
  • It's normal to feel a little overwhelmed, but don't worry if you don't understand everything at first—it's fine to edit using common sense.
  • If an edit you make is reverted, you can discuss the issue at the article's talk page. Be civil, and don't restore the edit unless there is consensus.
  • Always use edit summaries to explain your changes.
  • When adding new content to an article, always include a citation to a reliable source.
  • If you wish to edit about a subject with which you are affiliated, read our conflict of interest guide and disclose your connection.
  • Have fun! Your presence in the Wikipedia community is welcome.

File:Citizens First Bank Logo.png

Hi Beagall. Thank you for removing the border from File:Citizens First Bank Logo.png. This particular logo, however, seems too simple to be eligible for copyright protection per c:COM:TOO US and, therefore, didn't really need to be uploaded as non-free content. The older originally upoaded version has been restored by an administrator for this reason, and the file has been tagged for a move to Commons. Since the larger version is now fine for Commons, I've reverted the file back to that version before its moved. Would you mind taking a look at the larger version to see whether it too needs its border removed? If it does and you want to do that yourself, then that would be a big help. If you don't have the time to do so right now, then that's OK. I can always ask for assistance at WP:GL/I. -- Marchjuly (talk) 00:46, 15 August 2024 (UTC)Reply

Thanks, I took a look and the original looks fine. Some unnecessary white space got introduced when the image had its resolution reduced to comply with WP:NFCC3. Beagall (talk) 10:11, 15 August 2024 (UTC)Reply
