The Wikipedia tutorial is a good place to start learning about Wikipedia. If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the village pump or ask me on my talk page. By the way, you can sign your name on Talk and discussion pages using four tildes, like this: ~~~~ (the software will replace them with your signature and the date). Again, welcome!   Welcome to Wikipedia. At least one of your recent edits, such as the edit you made to Arjun Kapoor, did not appear to be constructive and has been reverted or removed. Although everyone is welcome to contribute to Wikipedia, please take some time to familiarise yourself with our policies and guidelines. You can find information about these at the welcome page which also provides further information about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. If you only meant to make some test edits, please use the sandbox for that. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you may leave a message on my talk page.   Hello, I'm Oshwah. I noticed that you recently removed some content from Ranveer Singh  with this edit, without explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, the removed content has been restored. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. ~Oshwah~(talk) (contribs) 07:14, 29 February 2016 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of File:Jackky Bhagnani at He Named Me Malala Premiere.jpg

edit

A tag has been placed on File:Jackky Bhagnani at He Named Me Malala Premiere.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the file appears to be a blatant copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted content borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. -Managerarc talk 14:11, 12 March 2016 (UTC)Reply

Re: Jackky Bhagnani's Wiki page

edit

Hi Bavisimegha,

Your edits were reverted mainly for the following reasons.

  • Replacing reliable references/content with unreliable sources such as Bollywoodbubble, btownleaks, wikiprofile.in etc. Please see WP:RS, WP:BLP, WP:V for details.
  • Not adhering to neutral point of view. Wordings such as "A celebrity who dons many hats", "striving to be a part of stories that leave a lasting impact", "He won the heart of many viewers by his performance in this movie" are clear violations of WP:NPOV.
  • Wikipedia is not a fan page. The articles need to be written from a neutral point of view. As per Wikipedia's policy on Biographies of living persons, "All quotations and any material challenged or likely to be challenged must be explicitly attributed to a reliable, published source, which is usually done with an inline citation. Contentious material about living persons (or, in some cases, recently deceased) that is unsourced or poorly sourced – whether the material is negative, positive, neutral, or just questionable – should be removed immediately and without waiting for discussion."-Managerarc talk 22:10, 17 March 2016 (UTC)Reply
Likewise, you have a response here. All the best, Airplaneman 19:57, 19 March 2016 (UTC)Reply

Sockpuppet investigation

edit

Hi. An editor has opened an investigation into sockpuppetry by you. Sockpuppetry is the use of more than one Wikipedia account in a manner that contravenes community policy. The investigation is being held at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Bavisimegha, where the editor who opened the investigation has presented their evidence. Please make sure you make yourself familiar with the guide to responding to investigations, and then feel free to offer your own evidence or to submit comments that you wish to be considered by the Wikipedia administrator who decides the result of the investigation. If you have been using multiple accounts (in a manner contrary to Wikipedia policy), please go to the investigation page and verify that now. Leniency is usually shown to those who promise not to do so again, or who did so unwittingly, but the abuse of multiple accounts is taken very seriously by the Wikipedia community.
