This is a completely inconstructible comment on the part of Gronk Oz which not only is completely unaware of the history of the discovery of that Telfer mine, nor of the development of the other Great Sandy Desert mines, but in most despotic way is party to hide & corrupt the reality of what happened
Party to the Cover-up indeed. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Basalt3711 (talkcontribs) 15:19, 23 September 2019 (UTC)Reply
@Basalt3711: Please note that I was not the editor who reverted your change: that was Graham87. I just thought it would be polite to leave this message for you, to explain what happened. If you disagree with the edits, then the most constructive way to address it is to start a discussion on the Talk page associated with the article - in this case that is Talk:Telfer, Western Australia. Telfer, Nifty, Kintyre mines in the Great Sandy Desert of WA & Jean-Paul Turcaud Australia mining pioneer

To Mrss Gronk Oz & Graham87

As you have told me, Quote Wikipedia articles should be a summary of what the most reliable, independent sources have to say about a subject - it is not the place to publish personal reminiscences and original works. Gronk Oz Unquote Wikipedia unfortunately does not come up to standard in subject lines, further it is endorsing false, fraudulent and downright unsulting comments in the direction of Jean-Paul Turcaud, riddled indeed with calumnies, innuendos & ridiculous claims from the Mining Corporations as to the process through which these mines where found. Telfer mine, officialy found from the air by Newmont CEO while flying over the GSD in his corporate craft... This is what Wikipedia is standing for, I am afraid, comforting readers in fraudulent tales written by the very companies behind those Multi-Billions criminals Swindles. These are the very people who wrote such articles, which you refer too as independent & reliable sources. Right ? The Hon T.D Evans member for Kalgoorlie & late Attorney General of WA Parliament, demanded on 7 occasions at Royal Inquiry on that Multi-Billions Telfer mine swindle, implying a legerdemain swift deal through a straw company, leaving then 1000s of shareholders rolled in the flour...

Anything on that from your alleged reliable & independent sources, any reference to the 300 pages GOLDEN RULE book of Bob Sheppard, The subtitle being: The True story of the discovery of Telfer mine ? NO, nothing of the kind of course.

Anything on DESERT GOLD, a 60 or 70 pages book funded by Newmont and redacted by Newmont CEO Tyrwhitt, where the official indeed discover is making his wild claim. I have had that book in my hand, which by fear of burning it I sent back to WA. Quote I SPOTTED THE SITE FROM THE AIR AND LANDED NEARBY IN THE DESERT TO TAKE SAMPLES Unquote Look, on the assumption that you are decent & honest blokes who are not taking me for a ride, and intent to be afoot with the standards declared by Wikipedia, I may give you independent & reliable sources who could help Wikipedia to narrow on what happened really. If you are dinkum indeed, I would suggest Bob Sheppard, archaeologist bobsheppard@warrigalpress.com.au The writer of the GOLDEN RULE Peter Bridge, mineralogist, it's editor. pbridge@iinet.net.au Dr Don Findlay, geologist & philosopher. earthexpansion@gmail.com Les Love. Incumbent Head of the WA Prospectors Union. leslowe@iinet.net.au The Hon Julian Grill, former Member for Boulder & lawyer. grill1@bigpond.com All right then. There are of course all documents and files substantaning such claims to which NO hints whatsoever is given in Wikipedia Telfer Mine article and this is The WA Parliament Hansard, with the very promise of a Royal Inquiry made by the Labour Party of the time... and as you probably do not know it, there is no statute of limitations to a Royal Inquiry !

Now. as you might be wondering, what is my motivation in seeking near on 50 years later a correction of fraudulent entries on Wikipedia? 1) I am attached to Wikipedia especially with reference to subject related to Mineralogy, & Geology. In this regard I wish to manifest my thanks & my small annual contribution is the mark of it. 2) I have brush from my record on Wikipedia the false accusations levelled at me by Mining Criminals & corrupt WA institutions downplaying systematically my exceptional achievement as an independent mining prospector in putting 3 mines on the map of the land, with 100 000s who benefited from it over the years 3) Now as a seasoned Exploration geologist, and to boost the Founder of the True Geology, the Jean-Paul Turcaud Wikipedia page over which I am unable to bring correction, is an insult to decency, and the proof of a definite attempt by criminals to push me to the brink of despair. Which the failed to achieve, as you know. 4) At the present time I am involved in Deep Sea Mining as a consultant to some Government & also as an inventor of alternative & non-destructive system of sea floor unconsolidated sedimentions. That page Jean-Paul Turcaud does not give credit at all to my present achievement both in mining & engineering. It is a a definite stain on Wikipedia 's standards indeed, which in that case clearly appear as a peddler of unfounded rumours & gossip whose underlying aim by those behind it are real intents of characters ' assassination through defamation. Indeed, out of the known discoveries I made in WA, once consolidated there was one alien element in the equation which had to be reduced. Unfortunately though for the scheming criminals 3 more important deposits were not disclosed, and never will be (1 gold, and 2 Nickel) So here we are. You have all elements in your hands, as I trust you have kept copy of the document I intended to publish on Telfer mine page. You may reach me directly if required, here is my phone and personal mail: +33786333790 jpturcaud@hotmail.com ( confidential) Incidentally. if so interested, I may give you a link towards an article outlaying the True Geology approach, which at this point in time is of the utmost importance

Yours sincerely

Contested deletion

This page should not be speedily deleted because... (your reason here) --Basalt3711 (talk) 20:20, 24 September 2019 (UTC)Reply

Sir,

If you do so, you should as well delete the page Jean-Paul Turcaud ( my name) which a tissue of lies, calumnies, innuendos to which I have never had access for correction nor addition of proper references related to the WA Great Sandy Desert discoveries of 3 current mines by myself in October 1970.

I have written a very thorough & comprehensive mail to Gronk Oz & Graham87 we are now quite aware of the issue. In clear questionning the independence & integrity of Wikipedia in relation to Corporate pressure.

It seems indeed ok that a definite character assassination takes place on the highjacking of my name & achievements on Wikipedia Jean-Paul Turcaud 's page, without possibility of correction. Indeed previous attempts have been cancelled by your moderators. I do admit hidden mining criminals writing any rubbish & false stories on myself, this being co-opted by Wikipedia.

Hence if I cannot access my own page for correction of what malicious people have said, please delete it as well

Yours sincerely

Jean-Paul Turcaud Exploration geologist Australia mining ⚒ Pioneer

@Basalt3711: I understand that it must be frustrating if there are inaccuracies concerning you, and it can be improved - if you go about it the right way. For the third time, the way to do that is to go to the Talk page of the article in question, and raise your suggestion there. Keep it objective: Wikipedia won't host personal missives that start "A personal homage, if I may, to men of courage..." Be specific with your suggestions: "replace XXXX with YYYY" or "add XXXX after YYYY". Since you mentioned me and Graham87 specifically, the message that you sent me was anything but clear - I can tell that you are upset but I still don't know what changes you want to make to the article. Put your suggestion, and supporting references, on the article's Talk page, and involved editors can discuss how best to improve the article. --Gronk Oz (talk) 14:34, 25 September 2019 (UTC)Reply

WIKIPEDIA Jean-Paul Turcaud 's page

Dear Sir,

Thank you for your reply & what may look evident to you, as a software engineer, was abstruse to me at first. Ok. Yes, I am annoyed at that fraudulent issue & what prompted my trice note to you, which you judged ambiguous.

Regarding the corrections to be made in no biaised fashion, I have requested the help of a friend in Perth, WA, in fact the writer of the GOLDEN RULE, Bob Sheppard ( which I have never read incidentally)

At the very least, the proper references to the books written on the subject should be made and without a dead end link, as is the case for the GOLDEN RULE 300p book . Namely, the one sus-named & the one written by the Newmont CEO Tyrwhitt, the official discoverer of Telfer mine: DESERT GOLD with proper link to the 60p book, with his foolish claim of airborne discovery. Unfortunately the reference to WA Hansard, regarding the demand of a Royal Inquiry, covers 7 interventions by Attorney General Evans and is not available readily. ( although excerpts are included in the Golden Rule, as I have been told) Thanks for your patience & dedication.

Jean-Paul Turcaud

Quote Thanks to give it a thought.

Just in case, I am forwarding to you the mail received from Wikipedia (Gronk Oz)

It is ironic that 50 years on, the undermined action of corporate & political interests, akin to libel, should put to task those who served & stood right, to try to redress the wrong. Further still presented & accepted as truth by those who presently stand by Wikipedia 's declared standards.

I will reply & will wait for your reply.

At this point in time, after so long, it might not matter at first view, all the more since I completely ignored these reports on myself, Telfer mine & others. However, I realise since going into a new venture re. deep Sea Mining, such fraudulent writing is damaging my repute & the reality of my exploration achievements... and this was the idea of those who redacted that page on Wikipedia! Unquote

Wikipedia Jean-Paul Turcaud's page / to Gronk Oz

To Gronk Oz

dear Sir,

The GOLDEN RULE by Bob Sheppard & DESERT GOLD by David Stuart Thyrwhitt are two essential reference books which should be included in Wikipedia pages relative to both Jean-Paul Turcaud, and Telfer mine.

They are not! Except a willfully botched reference to the GOLDEN RULE, leading to a dead end, in Jean-Paul Turcaud 's page. I understand that if both books are presented, it goes against the intended determination of those who wrote these pages, to belittle Turcaud & magnify the fraudulent achievement of Tyrwhitt, who never explorated a single acre of the Great Sandy Desert...Except of course from his alleged & foolish discovery of Telfer mine as Newmont CEO from his corporate aircraft. I am afraid, that of this villainy Wikipedia has been & is complicit. So many years remote that insulting page having been in place, it does not matter after all that it should remain so. It indicates indeed the vice & the length to which Corporate & Governments ' interests will go to twist the Truth, with the support of Wikipedia indeed, as can be observed. Leaving it put, will just illustrate this. I have noted that a recent photo of mine which was sent to Wikipedia alongside the correcting rectification, ( which I believe could be inserted), has been pasted on the Jean-Paul Turcaud 's Wikipedia page (not my page). Of course not on the Telfer mine page, as this would upset your friends.. Whoever did it, might be good enough to include the date of the pic, which I am giving you here: 15 July 2019, and the location Pyrenees mountain, France. In parting you might be interested to know, as this is the history of your country, that Telfer Mine was discovered on the 14th of October 1979, and the first party I led to it was Anglo-American at Xmas 1970. Kintyre mine was found at the beginning of that month & Nifty at the end. Just for interest sake, the famously rich Rooney show, of which you might have heard, was re-discovered by myself on a previous trip, but fortunately never disclosed (as well as 2 important Nickel deposits South) . This to say, that some have claimed it to be in fact the so long sought for Lasseter 's reef, but never me... I just don't know. If Mr Sheppard is not in a position to correct both the Jean-Paul Turcaud & Telfer mine pages, as he might be prevented from doing, let it be. I will just keep avoiding connecting to it, as to all things related to australia.
