PROBLEM FACING UPCOMING ARTISTE IN AFRICA COUNTRIES TODAY.

Looking into music industry today,there have been a lot of positive development all across the world.Incredible right?

But still,music industry continue to lack so much especially in Africa ln country,for instance like Nigeria. It has being “a struggle to the top” race for upcoming artiste these days. Take for instance self acclaimed “Zazzo crooner” Portable.An artiste that recently came into limelight.

It was discovered that the artiste went through a lot before making it to stardom.He failed in his first plan toward music industry I guess...this made him to man up to enter the industry with “craze” (Changed his plan)

Going straight to the point.One of the essential problem facing upcoming artiste is that they prefer to focus only on the music aspect than the business aspect. Music has gone far more than ordinary music,it’s considered as a serious business that requires knowledge.

Being a music artiste myself (@Sky DQ) I realize that most upcoming artiste want the fame and money overnight lol.Music industry doesn’t work that way. Flashback to our dear African legend @Fela Kuti and so on,they sacrificed their time,energy and take full responsibility of their music.

Do you think McDonald makes the best hamburgers in the state? Of course not! Almost everyone can make a hamburger even better than McDonald but he otherwise focus on how he sells his products. Upcoming artiste style of delivering their brand is really really low and only few knows about the music business aspect,which would always make those that’ll “blow” in the industry more than those that’ll continue the struggle.

Music industry in African countries would be more better and greatly improve if the so called “upcoming artiste “ focus more on the music business aspect and with good musical contents,there won’t be any limit to their stardom ln the industry.
