Draft edit

Unfortunately I have a lot going on right now, thus I can't assist much on its editing. I would suggest a few noticeboards where you can post a link to the draft and seek some general guidance. These are: the New users' desk; the content board (which may be helpful in assuring the content is of encyclopaedic value); and should you find yourself stuck, try the request for assistance board. Cheers, NJA (t/c) 07:38, 14 January 2010 (UTC)Reply

Dear NJA, dear Wikipedia Family, Thank you for weblink to New Contributor's Help Page: now I'll try this instruction: "if you place {{helpme}} on your talk page, a helper will visit you as soon as possible" - hope it works! I invite everybody to help me to improve this article about Lakota art and culture. Thank you in advance,

Hello, maybe my question was too general (or did I put it on the wrong page?): I just asked who would like to help me to improve the article about the Lakota artist Arthur Amiotte. For me it results quite difficult to meet with all the required conditions, as English is not my native tongue (thus I do not understand every hue or hint in the Wikipedia instructions), and furthermore I'm no expert in working with the computer (thus my contribution to the layout etc. is rather poor, I admit ...) So maybe someone better than me in this matters might help me to improve the quality of this article and help to make it meet all the required conditions (Wikipedia quality standard). This is an invitation to everybody! :-) Thank you in advance for your contributions, Büffelblick (talk) 11:51, 17 January 2010 (UTC)Reply

PS: the draft (article about the Lakota artist Arthur Amiotte) is on page User Page: "User Büffelblick"

You might find other interested people in a WikiProject - follow the link and see if there's a related WikiProject to your article. Josh Parris 23:45, 17 January 2010 (UTC)Reply

Dear Josh Parris,

thank you for the WikiProject weblink. (Now I've gotten a lot of stuff to read first until I'll understand how to participate! :-) I hope I'll find some interested people there, although I don't know where - within the section "Arts" - to include the article in a related project. We'll see. Anyway, whoever might read this: the invitation to participate here, in this article about contemporary Lakota art, does still exist!!!

Answer to suggestion made by Josh Parrish:

Dear J.P., I have looked up the link you proposed (WikiProjects) - unfortunately under the section "Visual Arts" the parts "Contemporary art" and "Painting" are not active (and thus gray) - thus there I won't find any help at the moment, I guess ... = = Please help me with incorporation of another web link source = = :

{{helpme}} My concrete Question is: I have found another source for the documentation of the relevance of the article about Arthur Amiotte, it is the following web-link: http://www.newworldencyclopedia.org/entry/Little_Bighorn_Battlefield_National_Monument

Now, as I still don't manage to get references incorporated in an adecuate manner, I would kindly ask you for help, the link would make a good footnote about the function of AA as a counselor about Lakota culture and history. Many thanks in advance! by the way: in general there seems to be a certain stagnation in the adaptation of this article to the Wikipedia standards, thus I do renew my invitation to everybody to optimize it, so that the article might be fully admitted soon! Thank you, to the whole Wikipedia family! Büffelblick (talk) 16:50, 30 January 2010 (UTC)Reply

= Thank you, Anneyh! = edit

Dear Anneyh, thank your for your help in optimizing the article about AA according to the Wikipedia standard! Büffelblick (talk) 19:40, 1 February 2010 (UTC)Reply
