Speedy deletion nomination of Society of American Gastrointestinal and Endoscopic Surgeons

A tag has been placed on Society of American Gastrointestinal and Endoscopic Surgeons, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. As reviewing administrator, I think it was not entirely promotional, though it certainly was written in the style of a web page, not an encyclopedia article. I removed a considerable amount of minor detail about the internal affairs and development of the society--please do not add it back. But if , in summarizing, I have gotten any of the titles of the publications wrong, or other such corrections are needed, please do fix them. DGG ( talk ) 22:19, 12 April 2010 (UTC)
