ummmm what were doing meeting the shabiha in Syria, at a time like this? Especially being an American? Sopher99 (talk) 06:38, 6 November 2012 (UTC)
I went to vacation with my syrian friend which is so anti goverment yet he lives right below qasum mountian in mezzah. It was not bad in the summer there were still girls to chase and we played soccer everyday. I might live in America but i am not american. The reason they have lijan is because Alawi Christian, Druze, and even Sunni who are well off are scared of FSA because they know that FSA does not ask your religious and political stance, they shoot kidnap and run away. Mezza is really secured i am suspicious on who bombed a car yesterday there.Avinza (talk) 16:03, 6 November 2012 (UTC)
Mezzeh has a district called "Mezzeh 86" which is the most alawite neighborhood in Damascus, Mezzeh probably has the highest density of Shabiha. Sopher99 (talk) 16:21, 6 November 2012 (UTC)
I was in Western Mezzah just below rahman mosque and i have not seen any shabiha there just regular police. You do understand that Shabiha patrols through damascus while lijan militias do not leave their districts?Avinza (talk) 17:40, 6 November 2012 (UTC)
