COI

edit

You need to read wp:coi, you should not be editing not writing articles about yourself.Slatersteven (talk) 17:14, 19 June 2020 (UTC)Reply

I understand why that can be problematic. But as long as the content & sources is good enough in themselves - that is to say true, balanced and neutral - this should not be good enough reason for a deletion.

As long as you do not make the edits. Frankly a COI like this could be enough for a wp:CSD.Slatersteven (talk) 17:22, 19 June 2020 (UTC)Reply

Ok, i am not very much into the technical terms here. But I assure I want the article to be as good and objectively true as possible. And as in fact I am a reasonably internationally respected author on certain subjects which normally merits an article, how do you suggest I proceed?

That is why you cannot edit it directly, as you cannot be objective about yourself. Also this is all you have ever done here it seems, so there are issues about self promotion (see wp:promotion). By the way CSD means speedy deletion, it so badly fails policy there is no need to even discuss it.Slatersteven (talk) 17:29, 19 June 2020 (UTC)Reply

I have written many articles on the Norwegian Wikipedi, which are very much up and running. And also a few on the English, even if it s a while since I cheked them. I am committed to objectivity. So how du you suggest I go about from here?

Stop writing about yourself.Slatersteven (talk) 17:54, 19 June 2020 (UTC)Reply

Point taken. I thought that as long as the FACTS and the SOURCES in themselves were correct and reliable, that would be good enough, but I will of course comply with all the standards demanded
