Wikipedians who are not a Wikipedian category

Hello Auntof6. Per the deletion discussion here, the category was deleted, however there was no mandate for the users to remove the red-linked category. I think you should revert your removals. Cheers, --kelapstick(bainuu) 08:00, 29 April 2016 (UTC)

Oops, you're right. I will revert, but I might not have time to do it until this weekend. Thanks for your note, and I apologize for the mistake. --Auntof6 (talk) 08:30, 29 April 2016 (UTC)
Not at all, you're not the first, and I am sure will not be the last. I am sure that many of them will be reverted by the user in question by the weekend, so it may all be done for you by then. All the best, --kelapstick(bainuu) 08:35, 29 April 2016 (UTC)
  • I rolled most of them back for you - you may want to check through. — xaosflux Talk 11:39, 29 April 2016 (UTC)
Thanks, Xaosflux. I checked and the category is back on all the pages I removed it from. --Auntof6 (talk) 02:50, 1 May 2016 (UTC)
  • @Auntof6: I really appreciate the gesture of removing the red-linked category for my page (and for others), but this category is an exception, I think because this is seen as a Wikipedia internal joke. I appreciate what you were trying to do, though. Regards, epicgenius (talk) 12:45, 29 April 2016 (UTC)
Thanks, Epicgenius. I appreciate your understanding. --Auntof6 (talk) 02:50, 1 May 2016 (UTC)

Keep your fingers off my Talk & User pages

IHTS 10:32, 29 April 2016 (UTC)

No need to be rude, User:Ihardlythinkso. It was an honest mistake, and not directed at you personally. --Auntof6 (talk) 19:54, 29 April 2016 (UTC)
"I will revert, but I might not have time to do it until this weekend." Oh give me a break. (You need "the weekend" to make single clicks on a keyboard to revert your changes?? Meanwhile you do have time to post that response??) IHTS (talk) 08:24, 30 April 2016 (UTC)
I repeat: there's no need to be rude. I wanted to do Kelapstick the courtesy of letting him/her know that I had seen his/her message and that I recognized my mistake. I felt I should take the time to do that right away, just as I'm taking the time to answer you right now. Responding to a message and reverting a set of edits are two different types of work, requiring different levels of concentration. For the latter, I'd wait until I was able to give it enough attention. --Auntof6 (talk) 09:32, 30 April 2016 (UTC)
  • Auntof6, I very much enjoy working with you on Simple Wikipedia. It has been a lasting relationship for almost four years. There I have the greatest respect for you as an admin and advisor. But you have no idea how much sorrow this intrusion brings me. This category was lovingly guarded for us who chose to live in it by User:28bytes an admin of the kindest and most considerate standards. I have many sorrowful trials in my life and the beauty and sanctity of my user page (cats speaking in babel and paw pats and memorial to Laika and all) is my solace. This includes my right to have redlinked categories.(Please refer to User:Drmies, who is not only an administrator but a current arbitrator. And you deined to remove this very same category from his user page as well !!!. It is beyond me why you would feel the need to raise this issue from the grave. My talk page edit notice says : No alarming the cat. If your edit will bring me sadness, please leave hearts and flowers instead. I contribute here for happiness; as an enchantment against sorrow. I offer kindness whenever possible. Remember the same for me. Thanks very much and enter Why the sorrow? Fylbecatulous talk 13:24, 6 May 2016 (UTC)
@Fylbecatulous: I have acknowledged my mistake, apologized, and the category has been put back on all the pages. There was no intent to upset or offend anyone. I don't see what else anyone could expect me to do about this. --Auntof6 (talk) 17:41, 6 May 2016 (UTC)
