July 2013 edit

Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to Dwier Brown may have broken the syntax by modifying 1 "()"s. If you have, don't worry, just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.

List of unpaired brackets remaining on the page:
  • * ''[[CSI|CSI Las Vegas]]'' (1 wpisode 20100 - Young Sam Braun

Redlinks and Regimental Articles edit

Thanks for contributing to Wikipedia, but please read WP:REDYES and stop removing red links from the Civil War regimental list articles. They are Wikilinked for a reason and there is a group of editors (User:MarcusBritish, and User:Adamdaley to name two) who are currently adding the missing regimental articles. When they add an article any existing redlink will turn blue and if you remove them before they create the new articles, they'll have no way to find what used to link to the article before it existed. Also, often the reason for a redlink will be because of a page move/renaming issue. For example, in the Colorado in the American Civil War article, I reverted your change and then renamed the existing "Third Colorado Cavalry" to "3rd Colorado Cavalry", so the link became a working blue link instead of red. Let me know if you have any questions. Mojoworker (talk) 20:46, 15 July 2013 (UTC)Reply

4th Pennsylvania Cavalry Regiment edit

I have slightly improved the article you created. In future please take the time to do a high quality article instead of a "cut and paste" job. There are many pages on Wikipedia to help you create new articles. Take the time to do it properly because there are millions of articles that need to be brought upto standard. Adamdaley (talk) 07:48, 8 August 2013 (UTC)Reply

Okay, I will work on quality when I create new articles in the future. Athollgoon (talk) 22:07, 8 August 2013 (UTC)Reply

Disambiguation link notification for June 26 edit

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited 109th New York Volunteer Infantry Regiment, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Captain (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.
