Intersex edit
Hello, Askingquestions2, and Welcome to Wikipedia. Thanks for your recent contribution to Intersex. Unfortunately, I had to undo it. As a general rule, the lead of the article summarizes and introduces the article, it is not the place to add new, unique information not already contained in the body of the article. Also, all material added to the body must be verifiable, and should include references from reliable sources. Finally, the whole topic of gender is a contentious one, and undergoes a higher level of scrutiny than most, so you should read and be aware of the policy on discretionary scanctions which governs this article and many like it. This is a tough area for a fairly new editor to learn the ropes. If you wish to continue with this article, I might suggest that you talk over your desired changes on the Talk page first, before altering the article itself. This will ensure you a better reception. - Logically valid articles of valid sources. Important to show how social organizations misinterpret the subject. That is why I called it unreliable and unscientific. Essentially the entire article is unreliable due to lack of scientific basis and understanding of male and female sex. - It is unwise to get involved an edit war in an area under discretionary sanctions. Let me add the standard boilerplate for you below, to make sure you understand what is involved. Please take your concerns to the Talk page of the Intersex article, and work out a consensus there, before making the same or similar changes to the article. The Arbitration Committee has authorised discretionary sanctions to be used for pages regarding all edits about, and all pages related to, any gender-related dispute or controversy and people associated with the same, all broadly construed, a topic which you have edited. Discretionary sanctions is a system of conduct regulation designed to minimize disruption to controversial topics. This means uninvolved administrators can impose sanctions for edits relating to the topic that do not adhere to the purpose of Wikipedia, our standards of behavior, or relevant policies. Administrators may impose sanctions such as editing restrictions, bans, or blocks. This message is to notify you that sanctions are authorised for the topic you are editing. Before continuing to edit this topic, please familiarise yourself with the discretionary sanctions system. Don't hesitate to contact me or another editor if you have any questions.- I just wanted to clarify something that I probably wasn't clear about above. The fact that your attempted change was reverted, doesn't mean that what you said above about "the entire article [being] unreliable due to lack of scientific basis and understanding of male and female sex" was wrong, or that anybody necessarily disagrees with you. You are probably correct; this is a volunteer project, and innumerable articles are in a poor state and need significant improvement, and this may well be one of them. But there are certain ways of doing things around here, and gaining consensus is a core policy at Wikipedia, and is the primary way decisions are made on Wikipedia, and it is accepted as the best method to achieve our goals; i.e., to achieve our five pillars. That's one of the reasons that just insisting on your own way of doing things, via edit-warring or any other way, regardless of how right you are, will never work, and will probably only end up getting you blocked from editing. So, instead of going that route, just please step back, take a breath, and try and follow the guideline recommendations. I tried to tell you before that areas under Discretionary Sanctions are a really tough place for someone new to learn the ropes, and it would be easier for you in another topic area, but if you really want to contribute to this article specifically despite that, then I urge you to read and understand the guidelines to contributing, to interact with other editors, and to use the Intersex article Talk page to gain consensus for the changes you want to make. I completely agree. There definitely are current ways of doing things on wikipedia and i am definitely doing them the correct way, I suggest you stop harrassing me and take the advice: there are certain ways of doing things around here, and gaining consensus is a core policy at Wikipedia, and is the primary way decisions are made on Wikipedia, and it is accepted as the best method to achieve our goals; i.e., to achieve our five pillars. That's one of the reasons that just insisting on your own way of doing things, via edit-warring or any other way, regardless of how right you are, will never work, and will probably only end up getting you blocked from editing. So, instead of going that route, just please step back, take a breath, and try and follow the guideline recommendations.

Edit-warring at Intersex edit
Your recent editing history at Intersex shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. In addition, this article is subject to discretionary sanctions (see above). To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See BRD for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.
Being involved in an edit war can result in your being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly. You can lay out your concerns there, and attempt to get consensus for your change. Remember that any addition you are proposing should first be destined for the body of the article, and not the lead, which summarizes and reflects the content of the body.
