Please hold on edit

Hey Antonin Andrejev, and welcome to Wikipedia. The reason your pages are being marked for deletion is because they have no content - at most the name of the city and what city it is nearby. This just isn't enough information for a Wikipedia article to be useful. I can possibly help do some rewrites of these later, but I'm not able at the moment. Why not add information to other Wikipedia articles that exist, which will give you a sense of what articles must include? this page may help. FlyingToaster 21:22, 13 February 2009 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of Issyk Lake edit

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Issyk Lake, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process because of the following concern:

Not notable

All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because, even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached.  Ronhjones  (Talk) 22:27, 23 March 2009 (UTC)Reply

Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but you removed a speedy deletion tag from a page you have created yourself. If you do not believe the page should be deleted, you can place a {{hangon}} tag on the page, under the existing speedy deletion tag (please do not remove the speedy deletion tag), and make your case on the page's talk page. Administrators will look at your reasoning before deciding what to do with the page. Thank you. Nuβiατεch Talk 22:38, 23 March 2009 (UTC)Reply

Please do not remove speedy deletion notices from pages you have created yourself, as you did with Karaturuk. Please use the {{hangon}} template on the page instead if you disagree with the deletion, and make your case on the page's talk page. Thank you. MuffledThud (talk) 23:35, 23 March 2009 (UTC)Reply

Hi there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. If you can't type the tilde character, you should click on the signature button   located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! --SineBot (talk) 00:19, 24 March 2009 (UTC)Reply
