Doubt on links edit

Hi Annaannieann, first of all, please avoid using real names if the username is different, I might want to be anonymous :D Regarding your question, absolutely use the exact link to the content you have been consulting, otherwise it might become impossible for others to retrieve that exact piece of information you have been using. A good rule of thumb when in doubt is to check how it has been done on a featured article.--Navarco (talk) 19:15, 4 November 2015 (UTC)Reply

Trouble with sections edit

Hi Annaannieann, I can't figure it out either. But I guess it's not a big deal. Most probably your references will get added to the already existing "References" section, and you can add new external links to the list as well.--Navarco (talk) 20:06, 8 November 2015 (UTC)Reply

Time to publish edit

Hi Annaannieann, I see you have been writing a lot in your sandbox. Maybe add a few more references and consider publishing it, so that you can get feedback, criticism, and suggestions from other users. When done, you could also try to think about adding a few images (at least one), I think it should be fairly easy to find something about the Irish on Commons.--Navarco (talk) 15:02, 9 November 2015 (UTC)Reply

Irish communities etc edit

The OBO has a paragraph on Irish community in London which you could look up and cite. This connects with migration into the metroolics in general (why?)

You could also look up more instances of Irish peole being embroiled with the law in the OBO. Just to be obvious, there is the matter of the body being rescued from the surgeons.

In addition, you need to check carefully and document all your statements. --Jfclegg (talk) 22:32, 23 November 2015 (UTC)Reply

Thank you for you suggestions, @Jfclegg: I have used te OBO paragraph on the Irish community for my section of the article, the information is now mixed with information from other sources. Should I cite the OBO whenever I report facts from it? I thought that adding citations too often might make the article too 'heavy' so I added the link to the page in the external links in case anyone wants to go directly to that page. I'm now working on MacGennis's trial as well as early patterns of migration from Ireland to Great Britain and types of jobs the Irish could do.
