North Belfast derby edit

Hi, I already have the scorers from the 3-0 game to Crusaders on 1st April 1997. I was told it was Glen Dunlop (43), Glenn Hunter (51,77). Can you check your source? I know Baxter got a glut of goals in a couple of games might be another one you mixing up with? If you can let me know and I can revert Baxter back to 9.

I do still require two fixtures though - 1991-92 season. A 2-2 draw at Solitude and a 5-1 victory for Crusaders at Seaview. Let me know also if you know any from the 80's as well?

North Belfast derby scorers edit

I've put together a list of all the scorers again. Couple of fixtures I'm missing that I think I had in the past.

Cup games:

  • 1996-97 season (both clubs scorers)
  • 04/09/96 Ulster Cup SF @ Oval 4-0 to Crusaders
  • 14/01/97 County Antrim Shield SF @ Windsor 2-1 to Cliftonville
  • 15/03/97 Irish Cup QF @ Solitude 3-1 to Cliftonville
  • 1994-95 season
  • 13/08/94 Ulster Cup Group Stage @ Seaview 1-0 to Crusaders

(Got those two Ulster Cup fixtures now. 4-0 was Baxter with a hatrick and Glen Hunter. The 1-0 was scored by Stephen Livingstone.

League:

  • 1999-2000 (Just need Crusaders scorers)
  • 31/08/99 @ Seaview 1-1
  • 30/10/99 @ Solitude 1-1
  • 27/12/99 @ Solitude 1-1
  • 18/03/00 @ Seaview 1-1

Xenomorph1984 (talk) 23:23, 24 October 2014 (UTC)Reply

Got all the above now. Have ALL Cliftonville and Crusaders goalscorers in league and cup from the 1983-84 season until now. Xenomorph1984 (talk) 23:58, 29 October 2014 (UTC)Reply

Hi As requested here's the ones you were looking for. The ??? are for players whom I don't know the first name, if you can clarify them? With regard to the 18/04/90 fixture: I believe Sid Burrows was playing at Linfield then. Was there another Burrows playing at the time. Also still waiting on clarification of the 1-4 in 83-84. I think Holden played for both clubs? I'm presuming he was playing for Crusaders at the time.

1983-84

  • ? 0 – 1 Damian Byrne
  • ? 1 – 4 Albert Holden / Mickey McDonald (2) Brian McKinnie, UNKNOWN

1989-90

  • 26/12/89 2 – 2 ??? Breslin, Sean O'Kane / Stephen Stewart, Glen Hunter
  • 18/04/90 1 – 1 ??? Burrows / Davey Hanna

1991-92

  • 29/02/92 2 – 2 Shaun Strang, Jim McFadden / Roddy Collins, Sid Burrows
  • 16/11/91 5 – 1 Stephen Stewart, Jimmy Gardiner, Roddy Collins, Sid Burrows, Tommy Parker / Eddie Patterson

1993-94

  • 27/12/93 2 – 1 Sean O'Kane, Tim McCann / Glen Hunter
  • 30/04/94 1 – 1 Glen Hunter / Sean O'Kane

1994-95

  • 29/04/95 2 – 2 Mark O'Neill, Tim McCann / ??? Livingstone, Sid Burrows
  • 26/12/94 1 – 0 ??? Livingstone

Do you want to give me your email and I can send over the spreadsheet of everything I have so far? Xenomorph1984 (talk) 22:14, 30 October 2014 (UTC)Reply

2010 EPTC Plate Events 1–6 edit

Hi how are you ?. I have found these 6 plate events which were contested during the 6 EPTC'S that were staged that season. The plates were contested by all the players who lost their first round matches. I have lists of results and finals. I want to add these as non ranking events on Wikipedia are you happy with this ?. 92.251.158.84 (talk) 14:58, 28 April 2017 (UTC)Reply

Hi there. I noticed those results as well. These plate tournaments were for players who had been eliminated in the early rounds of those corresponding EPTC events, so in effect they were - although it sounds harsh - "losers tournaments". As a result I'm not sure whether they really reach the threshold of non-ranking titles. A good user to ask would be Betty Logan who is a major snooker editor. Andygray110 (talk) 15:29, 28 April 2017 (UTC)Reply

I don't really want to ask her to be honest, these plates were contested back in the 70's. It doesn't matter if they are contested by "losers" as you call them, they are still events and Prize money was awarded to the winners and stuff. So they were events ? 178.167.207.246 (talk) 15:33, 28 April 2017 (UTC)Reply

Back in the 70s sometimes these plates were held after events and have been added as non-ranking events here 178.167.207.246 (talk) 15:35, 28 April 2017 (UTC)Reply

I believe we are talking about different events, I wasn't aware of EPTC events in the 1970s. The ones I was referring to were the 6 plate events contested in 2010 that correspond to the EPTC events of that year. I am using the term "loser" in a correct manner when referring to these tournaments but I can't comment on the tournaments you have a record of as I'm unaware of them. Go ahead and add them if you like, as long as they are properly sourced they should be ok. The only reason I am mentioning other users is that Betty Logan has been editing snooker for a long time and may remember if they have been added before, and if so, why they were removed. Andygray110 (talk) 15:59, 28 April 2017 (UTC)Reply

No the ones from 2010 haven't been added before, I've been on here a long time also. I don't think people are aware of the 2010 events they are low key I think that's why. Regards178.167.207.246 (talk) 16:09, 28 April 2017 (UTC)Reply

The plate events I mentioned in the 70s were held after some people were knocked out of the events they were playing in. I have done a lot of research on snooker myself. 178.167.207.246 (talk) 16:11, 28 April 2017 (UTC)Reply

Great stuff, I'm looking forward to seeing them on here. Happy editing - Andygray110 (talk) 16:15, 28 April 2017 (UTC)Reply

Good man it's the 2010 ones I am thinking of adding I'll see if I can get more info on them ok ? 178.167.207.246 (talk) 16:19, 28 April 2017 (UTC)Reply

If you go to CUETRACKER NOW BLACKLISTED and scroll down to EPTC the info is all there. They're dated 2017-03-23. As I'm sure you know Cuetracker isn't really the best for numbers, but it's pretty accurate on tournament info. Hope that helps you out - Andygray110 (talk) 16:25, 28 April 2017 (UTC)Reply

Cheers I know he has a funny way of doing things at times. I pointed out a few mistakes he had made and he did not like to hear it lol thanks for your help 178.167.207.246 (talk) 16:28, 28 April 2017 (UTC)Reply
