As I said at the time, the article needs to cite coverage in reliable sources that are independent of the subject to demonstrate notability for Wikipedia, so it isn't just that there are issues with the current sources but that they are not close to sufficient.
As for the current sources: #1 doesn't mention the subject at all, #2 is a 404, #3 is his page on his work website, #4 is a reliable source but doesn't contribute much to notability (just being a good lawyer doesn't mean one needs a Wikipedia article), #5 is authored by the subject, #6 doesn't mention him at all and is also a directory listing so not an appropriate source regardless, #7 and #8 are acceptable cites for verifying those two specific facts but contributes nothing to notability (the world has many lawyers, and many of them sit on boards), and #9 verifies that he wrote a book chapter but also contributes nothing about the significance of that. The sources that don't mention him are especially pointless.
Essentially, it needs to establish significance beyond himself, his employer, and other organisations that he does stuff for: if no one has ever written about him who wasn't associated with him beyond the massive Legal 500 page (nearly all of whom won't be considered notable either), this tends to suggest that he's not notable enough to be in an encyclopedia.
