Hello accesscrawl. My native language is Persian and I assure you that faqr (فقر) means poverty, but the English translation says pride which one of probable Persian equivalents for could be fakhr (فخر) which sounds more reasonable.

In the sense of that the person reached a level that could be considered the reason of pride of zoorkhaneh.
