Your concern about personal attacks

edit

You asked an editor to avoid personal attacks, and then wrote "Your ego is out of control and you should be banned as an editor. Are you a member of the Church of Scientology, by chance?". That's pretty clearly a personal attack. Dougweller (talk) 16:46, 4 December 2014 (UTC)Reply

Request reason:

I am not a "sockpuppet" but a real user. I have no connection to Platonics and I feel my account should be unblocked, please. I joined Wikipedia because as an author I needed to find a place to start my research on Atlantis. I found that the article had a POV that was so unbalanced that I had to say something. Bender235 responded to my post and was abusive and rude even though in my post I did not mention anyone by name and and only asked that the POV be balanced. After my exchange with Bender235 I was accused of attacking him by another person (Dougweller) who was not even involved with the conversation. Bender235 belittled my intelligence and then proceeded in another rant to call people like me (who do not follow his line of thinking) "an army of knuckleheaded meatpuppets". I chose not to engage any further with the Atlantis article because as a new member of the Wikipedia community I felt that I should let more experienced user handle the issue. I originally stated that I had no interest in becoming an editor for Wikipedia. At this time I still have no intention of editing articles but I will not be accused being fictional and let that stand without a response.

Decline reason:

"I still have no intention of editing articles" then there's no need for us to even consider your unblock request. only (talk) 19:48, 23 December 2014 (UTC)Reply

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Request reason:

"At this time I do not intend to edit articles" --- whether or not I chose to has no relevance about my account status. My account should not be labeled as a "Sockpuppet" and blocked. In the future - I could decided I would like to edit something and then I will have to go through this whole process before I can even contribute yet it can be solved right now. To block my account is a deterrent to me wanting to be an editor. It's a punishment for something I did not do. Amelija2 (talk) 20:11, 23 December 2014 (UTC) Amelija2Reply

Decline reason:

Firstly, you editing interests and conduct are similar to Platonics. Secondly, if you don't want to be an editor, we can just blank this page. PhilKnight (talk) 03:07, 24 December 2014 (UTC)Reply
