Quick question edit

What accounts have you used in the past? -- Shadow of the Starlit Sky 04:37, 3 May 2023 (UTC)Reply

I think I've used "HTML CSS JS", "HTML5, CSS3!", "Over The Horizons", "HTML on the go!", and "On the Tundra". Anyway, I have a question. Why do you guys keep suspecting vandalism, like how someone suspected a simple grammar error fix as vandalism when I was using the Simple English wikipedia? Extended confirmed revoked edit

You clearly gamed the system by making edits to User:Ameerthewolf/sandbox to get extended confirmed (likely to make this edit) — I have therefore revoked extended confirmed from your account. — TheresNoTime (talk • they/them) 02:01, 27 November 2023 (UTC)Reply

I'm sorry, but I don't see what is wrong about what I did when I asked that question. Ameerthewolf (talk to me 02:03, 27 November 2023 (UTC)Reply
Could you also clarify which other accounts you've had in the past which have been blocked? — TheresNoTime (talk • they/them) 02:05, 27 November 2023 (UTC)Reply
I think I've used "HTML CSS JS", "HTML5, CSS3!", "Over The Horizons", "HTML on the go!", and "On the Tundra". I wasn't vandalizing (I'm still confused if my question on that article's talk page was vandalism) on those accounts, rather, I was editing. However, the admins kept thinking I was vandalizing, and so I kept account-hopping. I will admit, that wasn't the right thing to do. Ameerthewolf (talk to me 02:11, 27 November 2023 (UTC)Reply

Introduction to contentious topics edit

You have recently edited a page related to the Arab–Israeli conflict, a topic designated as contentious. This is a brief introduction to contentious topics and does not imply that there are any issues with your editing.

A special set of rules applies to certain topic areas, which are referred to as contentious topics. These are specially designated topics that tend to attract more persistent disruptive editing than the rest of the project and have been designated as contentious topics by the Arbitration Committee. When editing a contentious topic, Wikipedia’s norms and policies are more strictly enforced, and Wikipedia administrators have special powers in order to reduce disruption to the project.

Within contentious topics, editors should edit carefully and constructively, refrain from disrupting the encyclopedia, and:

  • adhere to the purposes of Wikipedia;
  • comply with all applicable policies and guidelines;
  • follow editorial and behavioural best practice;
  • comply with any page restrictions in force within the area of conflict; and
  • refrain from gaming the system.

Additionally, you must be logged-in, have 500 edits and an account age of 30 days, and are not allowed to make more than 1 revert within 24 hours on a page within this topic.

Editors are advised to err on the side of caution if unsure whether making a particular edit is consistent with these expectations. If you have any questions about contentious topics procedures you may ask them at the arbitration clerks' noticeboard or you may learn more about this contentious topic here. You may also choose to note which contentious topics you know about by using the {{Ctopics/aware}} template.

November 2023 edit

Wikipedia's technical logs indicate that this user account has been or may be used abusively. It has been blocked indefinitely from editing to prevent abuse.

Note that multiple accounts are allowed, but not for illegitimate reasons, and any contributions made while evading blocks or bans may be reverted or deleted.
If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you should review the guide to appealing blocks, and then appeal your block by adding the following text below this notice: {{unblock|Your reason here ~~~~}}. Note that anything you post in your unblock request will be public, so you may alternatively use the Unblock Ticket Request System to submit an appeal if it contains information that must be private.

Administrators: Checkusers have access to confidential system logs not accessible by the public or by administrators due to the Wikimedia Foundation's privacy policy. You must not loosen or remove this block, or issue an IP block exemption, without consulting with a checkuser or the Arbitration Committee. Administrators who undo checkuser blocks without permission from a checkuser or the Arbitration Committee may be summarily desysopped.

Please stop wasting everyone's time. You have numerous blocked and globally locked accounts. You don't get to just keep making more. It is you, the person, who is banned, not the individual accounts. -- ferret (talk) 02:21, 27 November 2023 (UTC)Reply
I'm sorry. I wish I could just start over, but it is too late, right? Ameerthewolf (talk to me 02:22, 27 November 2023 (UTC)Reply
And how is what I was doing vandalism? Ameerthewolf (talk to me 02:22, 27 November 2023 (UTC)Reply
[[User: ferret]]! I would at least like to know WHAT I am banned for! (Sorry, I'm not being rude, but what is the bad thing I was doing? Ameerthewolf (talk to me 02:25, 27 November 2023 (UTC)Reply

I'm not sure where to even begin. I need you to understand first and foremost: Getting multiple accounts globally locked independently of each other does not happen to just anyone. You've been incredibly disruptive for this to have happened. You've had it explained to you in the past on multiple accounts and IP talk pages so I don't really think I need to go through it again. -- ferret (talk) 02:31, 27 November 2023 (UTC)Reply
I don't remember. I never even tried to be disruptive! Ameerthewolf (talk to me 02:32, 27 November 2023 (UTC)Reply
@Ferret is there a was to start over? Like completely? So I can prove I DON'T have malicious intentions on wikipedia! Ameerthewolf (talk to me 02:36, 27 November 2023 (UTC)Reply
You've had this explain to you before as well: WP:SO. -- ferret (talk) 02:37, 27 November 2023 (UTC)Reply
Oh yeah, sorry. But I still have to wait 6 months? And can I prove my good faith on Simple English? Ameerthewolf (talk to me 02:38, 27 November 2023 (UTC)Reply
@Ferret on Simple English wikipedia, what will I do if they falsely charge me for vandalism? I'll be globally locked again? Ameerthewolf (talk to me 02:39, 27 November 2023 (UTC)Reply
How could you prove your good faith on Simple English? You've already been blocked and globally locked twice for editing Simple English. You pretty much have zero options right now other than to completely wait 6 months without editing any projects at all, THEN make an appeal explaining how you're going to avoid the issues you've caused. -- ferret (talk) 02:43, 27 November 2023 (UTC)Reply
OK I'll stop editing now Ameerthewolf (talk to me 02:47, 27 November 2023 (UTC)Reply
