Tagging attack pages

edit

Hi. Thanks for tagging Levi Card just now, but there was a better tag to use. {{db-nonsense}} is only intended for the likes of "7%@##rq£5**#gxq!*@?!!" and "Yaaaaayyyy LOLLL!!!" Where a page is a personal attack like that, what you should do is blank out the whole content and replace it with {{db-attack}} or {{db-atk}}. That gets the attack of the screen so the attacker can't giggle over it or show it to people, puts it in a high-priority queue for admin attention, and generates a suitably fierce message for you to copy to the attacker's talk page. There is good advice about speedy tagging at WP:10CSD. Regards, JohnCD (talk) 15:14, 3 April 2010 (UTC)Reply

Better still is to use {{db-attack|blanked=yes}} when you blank the page. This avoids getting the "Please blank this page so that it only contains the deletion template." message. Peridon (talk) 21:20, 3 April 2010 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of Islamic International School

edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Islamic International School requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about an organization or company, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think that your page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, you can place a request here. Shabiha (talk) 23:08, 9 March 2013 (UTC)Reply
