Toc H Institute

edit

Welcome to Wikipedia. Why do you think Toc H Institute of Science and Technology located in small village named Arakkunnam is an "important institute in Kochi"? Incase you are unaware, the article is about Kochi city not Ernakulam district. And what is the specialty of TOCH Institute which none of the other self-financing institutes in Cochin City/UA have? JK (talk) 14:43, 8 June 2013 (UTC)Reply

If MACE is important which is about 50 km from Kochi, then Toc H is also important and it is one of the best performing colleges, the students had entered competition even in the US, no other colleges from Kerala was selected to participate, so its important. (http://www.thehindubusinessline.com/industry-and-economy/education/tist-team-to-present-project-at-cansat-competition-in-us/article4657606.ece/). Well I'm not arguing, because I think you are a senior. Amaljithh (talk) 15:39, 8 June 2013 (UTC)Reply

Yes, that is a significant achievement to the boys, but it still doesn't prove that it is one of the best performing colleges or deserve a mention in the article on Cochin city. There are numerous self-financing colleges in Ernakulam district. If we are to add all of them, the page will get cluttered.JK (talk) 16:07, 8 June 2013 (UTC)Reply

Okay, thanks for spending time to answer me. I just thought that if MACE was there, why Toc H cant be there. I added it up only because I'm a student of the institution. Thanks for that clear and elaborated answer. Amaljithh (talk) 16:19, 8 June 2013 (UTC)Reply

I've removed MACE from the article. Request you to update the college details on the page Educational Institutions in Ernakulam District. You can also add the link to that article in the 'See also' section of the Kochi page. JK (talk) 16:39, 8 June 2013 (UTC)Reply

Thank you, by the by where do you reside? Amaljithh (talk) 16:44, 8 June 2013 (UTC)Reply
