License tagging for Image:Nxec-livery.jpg

edit

Thanks for uploading Image:Nxec-livery.jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information; to add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia.

For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 04:08, 9 December 2007 (UTC)Reply

Hi there, please could you add details of the exact source URL of this image otherwise it might be deleted. You might want to look at the image above also as there appears to be an issue with that one too. Regards. Adambro (talk) 13:09, 9 December 2007 (UTC)Reply

It is still unclear what permission has been received, do you have an email from the company which you could forward to OTRS? There also needs to be a license tag added to the image page. Until this is resolved I'd ask you don't add this image to any more pages. Adambro (talk) 14:53, 9 December 2007 (UTC)Reply
This image is still missing a copyright tag indicating how this image can be used and what licence it is released under. If you have an email detailing permission for this image then please forward it to permissions-en@wikimedia.org so it can be archived and listed on the image page as being confirmed. If the required information isn't provided then it will be deleted so I'd ask that you don't add it to any more articles until you've resolved this issue. Also, could you please add the source URL to Image:Nxeclogo.jpg. Thanks. Adambro (talk) 07:48, 10 December 2007 (UTC)Reply
Since you have made no further attempts to provide the required information for this image and it will be deleted unless this happens, I again am going to remove it from articles. Do not add it to articles until such time as the problems have been addressed. Adambro (talk) 18:41, 14 December 2007 (UTC)Reply

Unspecified source for Image:Nxeclogo.jpg

edit

Thanks for uploading Image:Nxeclogo.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, then you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, then their copyright should also be acknowledged.

As well as adding the source, please add a proper copyright licensing tag if the file doesn't have one already. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Fair use, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 18:41, 14 December 2007 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Adambro (talk) 18:41, 14 December 2007 (UTC)Reply

Orphaned non-free media (Image:Postmasterlogo.jpg)

edit

Thanks for uploading Image:Postmasterlogo.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 03:21, 18 October 2008 (UTC)Reply
