Speedy deletion nomination of Draft:Ali sorena

edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Draft:Ali sorena, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Birthplace and dates in biographies

edit

Birthplaces and dates in biography lead sections do not get italicized, as you have done here https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Alireza_Haghighi&diff=prev&oldid=1065682824 and with other edits. When working with biographies, please follow the examples at MOS:BIO.

And in all other places as well. Before changing how something looks, make sure it is the way it is done in all other articles. Thanks. Le Marteau (talk) 19:12, 14 January 2022 (UTC)Reply

Inappropriate boldface

edit

With this edit: https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Pornhub&type=revision&diff=1065686460&oldid=1065512942

... you added bold emphasis to the article. As per MOS:BOLD However, there are only certain times when we use bold text, and the situations you boldfaced do not apply.

Before changing the way things look, please make sure that what your are doing is in keeping with the Wikipedia Style Guides, as well as how it is done on other articles. Thanks. Le Marteau (talk) 19:31, 14 January 2022 (UTC)Reply

Please do not use styles that are nonstandard, unusual, inappropriate or difficult to understand in articles, as you did in Porya_Yali. There is a Manual of Style, and edits should not deliberately go against it without special reason. Please stop italicizing birth places and dates in biographies. Edit in question: https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Porya_Yali&type=revision&diff=1065686991&oldid=1049186468 Le Marteau (talk) 19:33, 14 January 2022 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of Khodadad Shafiepour

edit

The article Khodadad Shafiepour has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Lacks notability, competitions don't get the necessary attention to meet our notability guidelines.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
