Mellk, I asked you earlier if I could consult with you. But you didn't answer anything. Regarding this, I simply took the information from the Ukrainian version (I didn't mean to do anything wrong, I was just translating the usual information about the person). Is there a list of experienced vetted editors somewhere that I can refer to? How do they become verified editors? WP:RUSUKR very clearly says you must be extended confirmed to make any edits about the war, broadly construed. This is what I have also repeated (WP:IDHT). It does not matter whether you copied the information from a different project or not. And yes, you mentioned the annexation of Crimea, this falls under broadly construed. On any page where the restriction is not enforced through extended confirmed protection, this restriction may be enforced by other methods, including page protection, reverts, blocks, the use of pending changes, and appropriate edit filters. If you wish to restore information, then you can do this, but any more edits related to the topic area (broadly construed) will indicate that a block is necessary. Extended-confirmation removed for now

Hello Alex091981,

I've had a look at edits such as [1] [2] [3] [4] [5] [6] [7] [8] [9] [10] [11] [12] [13] [14] [15] and wondered why they couldn't have simply been done in one edit per article. I think the honest answer is "because I needed more contributions to become extended-confirmed", but that's not really how the permission is meant to work. While "500 edits" have been introduced as a strict limit for automatically receiving the permission, this isn't about edits, it's about editing experience. The WP:GS/RUSUKR restriction is meant to encourage you to gain experience with editing in other topic areas, not to make you produce a lot of unnecessary small multi-edits for the permission.

Please take your time. When you are confident that you have actually reached the experience the community expected to see when making extended confirmation a requirement, please message me on my talk page, or create a request at WP:PERM/EC and feel free to notify me about the request.

The Task Center and the community portal contain useful ideas for contributions unrelated to the Russo-Ukrainian War.
