November 2019 edit

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, we would like you to assume good faith while interacting with other editors. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Doug Weller talk 09:10, 20 November 2019 (UTC)Reply

You should not suggest that editors might receive criminal penalties or might be sued edit

That can get you blocked. no legal threats covers such suggestions. Doug Weller talk 11:08, 20 November 2019 (UTC)Reply

@Doug Weller: Doug I have no business taking legal actions but with best intentions I was just letting Wikipedia editors know the scenerio if things go bad. We are dealing with the largest volunteer organization in the world and we have false data whosoever we may quote. Ajganguly (talk) 11:42, 20 November 2019 (UTC)Reply
Yes, but that can have a Chilling effect on editors. Particularly if you are an RSS supporter. Doug Weller talk 13:02, 20 November 2019 (UTC)Reply
@Doug Weller: Hahaha, True. I am Indian and Hindu by birth, I can't change that :) rather am proud of that. Will ping you when I have proof to point out data errors. Just like any editor I need to do research, I can know what is correct but I never thought of getting proof or the need for it ever.

Just playing with the Wikipedia App seems will be costing me time and energy now. Anyway in interest of knowledge I hope it will be worth it. Ajganguly (talk) 13:18, 20 November 2019 (UTC)Reply

No reason not to be proud of being Indian and Hindu. I'm American by birth and proud of it, but ashamed of its present government. Doug Weller talk 13:49, 20 November 2019 (UTC)Reply
