Proposed deletion of Mohammed Abou-ElGhar edit

The article Mohammed Abou-ElGhar has been proposed for deletion because under Wikipedia policy, all biographies of living persons created after March 18, 2010, must have at least one source that directly supports material in the article.

File source problem with File:AbouElFtouh.jpg edit

Thank you for uploading File:AbouElFtouh.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, please add a link to the page from which it was taken, together with a brief restatement of the website's terms of use of its content. If the original copyright holder is a party unaffiliated with the website, that author should also be credited. Please add this information by editing the image description page.

If the necessary information is not added within the next days, the image will be deleted. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem.

Please refer to the image use policy to learn what images you can or cannot upload on Wikipedia. Please also check any other files you have uploaded to make sure they are correctly tagged. Here is a list of your uploads. If you have any questions or are in need of assistance please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. File permission problem with File:Sabahi.jpg edit

Thanks for uploading File:Sabahi.jpg. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file agreed to license it under the given license.

If you created this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either

  • make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
  • Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{OTRS pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.

If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en wikimedia.org.

If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:File copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. You may wish to read the Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Fut.Perf. 07:46, 23 August 2011 (UTC)Reply

License tagging for File:MahmoudJibril.jpg edit

Thanks for uploading File:MahmoudJibril.jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information; to add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click the "Edit" tab at the top of the page and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia.

For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 07:05, 25 August 2011 (UTC)Reply

Egyptian parliamentary election, 2011 edit

Hello AhmedEssam11,

you have removed a section about the AlJazeera opinion poll of July from the above article and the results of this poll from the chart with poll results without giving a rationale for this. Edits re-introducing this sourced (!) content have been reverted by you repeatedly. I cannot comprehend this. If you have doubts about the reliability of the source, its interpretation, the factual accuracy or the relevance of this survey, please discuss this on the talk page. But please do not just remove sourced content and - even more important - please do not revert the same thing several times. The latter can be perceived as Wikipedia:Disruptive editing or even WP:Edit warring. It is important to avoid this, but cooperate and communicate with each other.

Kind regards --RJFF (talk) 12:38, 30 August 2011 (UTC)Reply

Freedom and Justice Party / no original research edit

Hello AhmedEssam11,

based on Wikipedia's main principle Wikipedia:Verifiability, there is a guideline called Wikipedia:No original research. You have repeatedly inserted the label "right-wing" in the infobox on the Freedom and Justice Party without reference to a reliable source. I have to assume that this is merely based on your personal perception = original research. Please accept that you cannot add this label without a reliable source verifying it. Kind regards --RJFF (talk) 20:39, 7 November 2011 (UTC)Reply

File copyright issues edit

I see that when you uploaded the file File:Field Marshal Tantawi.png you stated that the work had been released into the public domain by the copyright holder. However, I can find no evidence that this is so, and indeed the web page you copied it from says "© 2011 Copyright Sulekha.com | All Rights Reserved". Can you please say where you got the information that the image had been released into the public domain? It is very important that you do this, as I see that you have a history of uploading images without copyright information, or with unsatisfactory copyright information, going back at least four months. If it seems that you are continuing to infringe copyright, despite numerous messages about doing so, it is likely that you will be blocked from editing to prevent you from further illegal activity here, so please do explain where you got this information. JamesBWatson (talk) 20:30, 29 December 2011 (UTC)Reply

Since writing the above, I have discovered that you have made the same statement about copyright for File:FreeEgyptians.png, File:Nour party.png, and File:Freedom and Justice.png, and again I can find no source for the statements. Please say where you got the information about release into the public domain for these files too, and for any other files for which the same applies, if there are any. Tantawi as president edit

Hello AhmedEssam11. You have made several edits in which you put Tantawi as the current president of Egypt. That is inaccurate, Tantawi is head of the SCAF, the junta that currently rules Egypt. The office of president has been vacant since Mubarak's resignation. I raised this issue on the talk page, and you have made several reverts without replying there. Please do not continue simply re-adding Tantawi, please reply on the talk pages. Thanks, nableezy - 14:34, 31 December 2011 (UTC)Reply

Hello, AhmedEssam11!

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 3 days for persistently ignoring copyright. Despite warnings, you have continued to upload images lacking copyright information, to remove copyright tags from images without satisfactory copyright information, and to provide unsatisfactory copyright information (such as linking to a page which says "all rights reserved" for an image which you claimed had been released into the public domain). Copyright is taken seriously by Wikipedia. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions. If you would like to be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first.
