This article relies too heavily on articles published in the subject itself, and needs more citations to independent resources. While it does include citations to other sources, as far as I can tell (with the exception of citation #1) these citations are not used to back up any claims about the subject and do not discuss the subject, but instead are used to provide historical context. It's totally acceptable (and desirable) to use sources to provide this context, but this should not be taken as a substitute for actual coverage of the subject in independent, reliable sources. Additionally, the article could use a bit more context in the lead, as it currently does not explain who the Red Women's Detachment were or where the Red Star was published
