Greetings... edit

Noticed you on here and though i'd say hello! You should have another go at Ubuntu sometime, it certainly can be confusing but really is worth a little extra effort, and i'll provide support! See you around sometime! --Jonathandavis 20:27, 4 October 2006 (UTC)Reply

Yup, think it was from the Ashton page, I also noticed you added the Witchwood onto google earth! Excellent! Yeah KVM's are a brill piece of kit, D@ta in ashton sell them quite cheap, either that or Aria. If you really want to get into linux I can recommend joining a LUG. Nearest one is at Manchester Uni. I have attended many times, and gave a talk last month on a favourite distro of mine. Definately a good place to get help and advice using linux! --Jonathandavis 20:58, 4 October 2006 (UTC)Reply
Thought it was you who had done it on GE, my bad. Yeah Geexbox is excellent, and it doesnt even need installing, it runs off a live CD by default and can be installed from the CD. For some more info, my presentation is on the ManLug website. The Witchwood page is looking very nice, I shall see if there's anything I can contribute. I'm getting good with Wikipedia now as my ClassicKidsTV website has been converted to run on MediaWiki, although I still have loads to learn, you're obviously the superior wikipedian! I'll probably speak to you on MSN sometime. --Jonathandavis 21:25, 4 October 2006 (UTC)Reply

Welcome to Wikipedia! edit

Hello Aenimiac, welcome to Wikipedia!

I noticed nobody had said hi yet... Hi!

You are quite right the Battle of Pelennor Fields, is not in keeping with the rest of List of wars and disasters by death toll!

Here's some stuff I like to welcome new editors with:

If you feel a change is needed, feel free to make it yourself! Wikipedia is a wiki, so anyone (yourself included) can edit any article by following the Edit this page link. Wikipedia convention is to be bold and not be afraid of making mistakes. If you're not sure how editing works, have a look at How to edit a page, or try out the Sandbox to test your editing skills.

If, for some reason, you are unable to fix a problem yourself, feel free to ask someone else to do it. Wikipedia has a vibrant community of contributors who have a wide range of skills and specialties, and many of them would be glad to help. As well as the wiki community pages there are IRC Channels, where you are more than welcome to ask for assistance.

If you have any questions, feel free to ask me on my talk page. Thanks and happy editing, Alf melmac 22:13, 6 September 2005 (UTC).Reply
