Aenimiac, or TJ as most people call him in real life, is a 23 year old male from Manchester, England. Born in November 1983, on the 20th anniversary of the airing of the first episode of Doctor Who as a matter of fact. In 2006 he graduated from the University of Manchester with a BA degree in Economics. Regrettably he has now had leave the world of student laziness and move into the real world for the next 40 odd years of his life. He now works for a large insurance company.

He has officially been a Wikipedian since 6th September 2005, with his first edit being done on this article, though his first visit was some time before, probably as a result of a Google search.

He mainly tends to edit articles regarding local history, music and sport, though he has been known to edit articles about economic matters, television programmes and also video games. Most of his edits attempt to clean up articles and remove mistakes rather than writing new articles, though this may come to him in time.

Interests edit

Outside of Wikipedia, his interests are varied. He has a great love of computers and technology, becoming, in effect, the family support technician when it comes to comptuers. His first experience with home computing was with his Dad's Sinclair ZX Spectrum, when he spent endless hours playing on games such as SuperTed and Thomas the Tank Engine, along with Rifle Range, Tornado Low Level (though all he did was change wing settings and crash a lot) and Jet Set Willy, though he never knew what the hell was going on in that one. He also enjoyed printing things out on the tiny Spectrum printer with silver paper. Following several years in the computing wilderness he finally got his hands on an Amiga 1200. His favourite games on this platform were Cannon Fodder, The Settlers (on which he would spend whole days) and Brutal Sports Football. He also used to enjoy messing around with settings in Workbench, changing the display to horrible, gaudy colour schemes. (School computer memories include making Pod pop, playing in Granny's Garden and making turtles repeat 1000s of instructions on Logo on the BBC).

After having to write essays for school on his Dad's old laptop, with a monochrome screen and DOS operating system, his family got a 75MHz 486DX2 beast in 1996, on the same day that Eric Cantona scored the winner against Liverpool in the FA Cup Final.

This life-long interest in computers has led him to believe he is fairly knowledgeable about Windows PCs and hardware, though recent delvings into the world of Ubuntu left him somewhat baffled, though he was able to set it up with a little reading, asking and trial and error. This is an area he hopes to improve in in the future.

Aenimiac also has a great love of music. He listens to many different genres including rock (including progressive and alternative), metal, electronic, jazz, classical and blues, witha list of some of his favourite bands to be found at the bottom of this article. He also plays the guitar, preferring the sound of a Les Paul (though he can only afford an Epiphone version) and a Marshall amplifier.

Aenimiac is also a fan of football and supports Manchester United F.C.

He also enjoys imperial measures of foaming nut brown ale from the oaken cask. In other words, Aenimiac is a fan of ale (specifically bitter and pale ale), keeps meaning to join CAMRA and has been known to brew his own beer from time to time. He avoids lagers such as Carling and Stella Artois as he finds them far too fizzy and bland. Quite possibly his favourite beer is True Grit, brewed by Millstone Brewery in Mossley.

In the future, Aenimiac would like to carry on learning and obtain knowledge in areas such as 20th Century history, philosophy and Norse mythology. After twice trying unsuccessfully he would also like to read the Lord of the Rings trilogy.
