Your account has been blocked indefinitely from editing because of the following problems: the account has been used for advertising or promotion, which is contrary to the purpose of Wikipedia, and your username indicates that the account represents a business, organisation, group, or web site, which is against the username policy.

You may request a change of name and unblock if you intend to make useful contributions other than promoting your business or organization. To do this, first search Special:CentralAuth for available usernames that comply with the username policy. Once you have found an acceptable username, post the text {{unblock-spamun|Your proposed new username|Your reason here}} at the bottom of your talk page. Replace the text "Your proposed new username" with your new username and replace the text "Your reason here" with your reasons to be unblocked. In your reasons, you must:

  • Disclose any compensation you may receive for your contributions in accordance with the Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure requirement.
  • Convince us that you understand the reason for your block and that you will not repeat the kind of edits for which you were blocked.
  • Describe in general terms the contributions that you intend to make if you are unblocked.
Appeals: If, after reviewing the guide to appealing blocks, you believe this block was made in error, you may appeal it by adding the text {{unblock|Your reason here}} at the bottom of your talk page. Replace the text "Your reason here" with the reasons you believe the block was an error, and publish the page.

Requested username:

Request reason:

I am not trying to advertise a business, but I simply noticed that despite being a company founded in 1998, with lots of talk about in Zurich and broader Switzerland, there is no Wikipedia page for it and I've decided to create one. There are many others live company pages with nothing 'investigative' about them, but just the basic information, such as Temenos AG or Avaloq, and I have tried to follow the exact same structure of content. I am not being paid to create this page, I simply knew the company well and wanted to create an article about it. I do work for the company from time to time, as a freelancer. How can I disclose that, apologies if I missed it.

Decline reason:

The proposed new username is probably fine; please use the form at meta:Special:GlobalRenameRequest to submit it in this specific case. Please mention in the form that "ToBeFree has asked me to use this form for the request, and has indicated that the username change is fine at [[:en:User talk:AdditivAG Zurich]], in the decline message for the block." However, I can't unblock you. Your current primary intention when editing Wikipedia seems to be continuing to make edits with a conflict of interest. There is no time limit for an unblock request, so please take your time and only request an unblock if this actually ever changes. This may well be years later. And when that happens, please provide specific examples for helpful contributions that you would like to make, but that are currently prevented by the block. It will then also help if you explicitly agree to a topic ban from AdditivAG Zurich as a binding unblock condition. And although, by then, you shouldn't be interested in making edits about that topic anymore, you will still need to provide a proper disclosure, according to the requirements described at WP:PAID, for the contributions that led to the block. ~ ToBeFree (talk) 20:37, 18 May 2021 (UTC)Reply
PS: You may like to have a look at the Task Center and/or the Community portal for helpful ideas that have nothing to do with AdditivAG. ~ ToBeFree (talk) 20:40, 18 May 2021 (UTC)Reply

Please see other stuff exists. Other similar articles existing does not automatically mean yours can too. It could be that those other articles are also inappropriate, and are just unaddressed. We can only address what we know about. Please review WP:PAID for information on disclosure requirements. Please understand that Wikipedia is not a place to merely tell about a business, that is considered promotional. A Wikipedia article should summarize what independent reliable sources with significant coverage have chosen on their own to say about a company, showing how it meets Wikipedia's special definition of a notable company. Is there anything you want to edit about other than this company or anything related to your conflict of interest? 331dot (talk) 23:38, 17 May 2021 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of Draft:Additiv AG

edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Draft:Additiv AG, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Dudhhr (talk) 16:53, 17 May 2021 (UTC)Reply
