Hello, Adam jones25. Welcome to Wikipedia and thank you for your contributions! I'm Crtew, one of the other editors here, and I hope you decide to stay and help contribute to this amazing repository of knowledge.

    Do assume good faith
    Do be civil
    Do keep cool!
Do maintain a neutral point of view
    Don't spam
    Don't infringe copyright
Don't edit where you have a conflict of interest

If you need further help, you can:
    Ask a question

Alternatively, leave me a message at my talk page or type {{helpme}} here on your talk page, and someone will try to help.

There are many ways you can contribute to Wikipedia. Here are a few ideas:
    Fight vandalism
Be a WikiFairy or a WikiGnome
    Help contribute to articles

    Perform maintenance tasks
Become a member of a project that interests you
    Help design new templates

Remember to always sign your posts on talk pages. You can do this either by clicking on the   button on the edit toolbar or by typing four tildes (~~~~) at the end of your post. This will automatically insert your signature, a link to this (your talk) page, and a timestamp.

The best way to learn about something is to experience it. Explore, learn, contribute, and don't forget to have some fun!
To get some practice editing you can use a sandbox. You can create your own private sandbox for use any time. Perfect for working on bigger projects. Then for easy access in the future, you can put {{My sandbox}} on your user page. Seeing as you haven't created a user page yet, simply click here to start it.

Sincerely, Crtew (talk) 06:44, 11 January 2012 (UTC)   (Leave me a message)Reply

Good Start edit

Adam jones25, You are off to a good start. I like your references because they show "Significant Coverage" at an international level! You can run the Reflinks tool before you do you Lexis-Nexis search! Crtew (talk) 03:04, 3 February 2012 (UTC)Reply

Good Start edit

Adam jones25, You made a good start. I see you found articles from both world press freedom organizations and major news outlets. The latter will be valuable as they will help you find the significance and also show "signifcant coverage" for worthiness of encyclopedic coverage. You should now run the Reflink tool. Photos edit

Adam, You may be one of the lucky few who get to include photos in your entry as there is a site where properly licensed photos are being collected. Check out: http://bahrain.viewbook.com/ and then let's talk about your find. Crtew (talk) 20:06, 12 February 2012 (UTC)Reply

Lexis-Nexis edit

Do your Lexis-Nexis search before you create your sandbox page. Crtew (talk) 01:40, 14 March 2012 (UTC)Reply

Lead edit

Write your lead before you create your sandbox page. Crtew (talk) 01:40, 14 March 2012 (UTC)Reply

Karim Fakhrawi edit

Adam, Your new edits were good. I sharpened up the lead as it had too much information in it. The more specific details should be in the body. The lead is big picture stuff. He was the second journalist to be killed within a week after the start of the Bahraini uprising. There are also torture photos that were available on Wikimedia Commons (Creative Commons license), and I selected the least gruesome one for the page. It's also categorized. Please go to the page and look at the top banner. Yours is the new type and you have a "click here" to save link. Use that to submit once you look at my changes. I'll see that it's submitted in my watch list. Good luck -- it looks great now, Crtew (talk) 17:38, 30 April 2012 (UTC)Reply
