The Anemonog

The Anemonog is an animal which is derived from an Old English Mastiff dog and an Anemone fish.

Anemone Fish live with colourful undersea animals called anemone, which looks very much like plants. To protect themselves, they do not protect themselves; they utilise the anemone plants around them. The sea anemones' stinging tentacles provide protection for the anemone fish. While predators are repelled, a thick covering protects the anemone fish from its host. Very territorial, anemone fish live in pairs or small groups. The largest female and her mate, which is the second largest fish in the group, bully the smaller fish. If one of the bigger fish die, the rest move up in status according to size (They can even change their gender)

Life Span: 6 to 10 years

Diet: Omnivore. Algae and tiny, free-floating plankton.

Predators and Threats: Larger fish, including sharks and stingrays, and humans.

Habitat: They live in shallow, tropical salt water with their anemone hosts. Found in the Red Sea and other seas.
